Set in a quiet rural location in a sleepy country lane, Ardmor barn is about a mile from the village of Ballinspittle and 'Blue Flag' sandy beaches. The village has a grocery store, an excellent butchers shop, a post office, hairdressers, cafe and a bar. The picturesque fishing town of Kinsale, famous for its restaurants and festivals (including the famous fringe Blues/Jazz festival in October), is only ten minutes drive away. The detached barn shares a landscaped courtyard with the adjacent traditional farmhouse. There is access to a private garden with views over the unspoilt countryside, and plenty of off-road parking. The location is a perfect base for touring along the spectacular West Cork coastline, or enjoying the local sandy beaches (there is a surfing school on Garretstown beach). There are some excellent local golf courses, fishing, sailing, walking, dining out or just relaxing and enjoying friendly craic in the local bars.
