Modern, well equipped home with large gardens located on a private lane. The house is on the Caragh Estuary situated 1.5 miles from the town of Glenbeigh. Glenbeigh is located on the Iveragh Peninsula, known as the Ring of Kerry. Dooks premier links golf course is directly across the water. Rossbeigh beach is a blue flag 3 mile stretch of beach and dunes, ideal for children. The area is great for walking with trails and paths nearby. The house is maintained in an environmentally friendly manner, the house is cleaned and maintained using "green" products and it is painted with environmentally friendly low VOC paint. These features enhance the indoor environmental quality. It is tastefully decorated and heated by a geothermal heating system. The furniture and general decoration is in a traditional style; the floors are wood and slate. The large windows give fabulous sea and mountain views. The open fireplaces provide extra warmth and cosiness.

2 minutes walk from a quiet beach and 10 minutes drive away from beautiful Rossbeigh Strand, which is a Blue Flag beach with 3 miles of sandy beach and dunes. There is a life guard at the beach during the summer season. The area is great for those interested in water sports.

40 mins from Kerry airport at Farranfore, with flights from the UK, Dublin and Germany. 2 hours from Cork airport, with many flights from Europe. For travellers from the US particularly the house is 3 hours from Shannon airport near Limerick.

Glenbeigh is a pretty village with a supermarket, petrol station and Post Office. It has 2 long established hotels which serve food and pubs that in high season have entertainment. 8 miles away is the larger town of Killorglin. The larger town of Killarney is the centre point for the world renowned Lakes of Killarney, the Killarney National Park and the historical Muckross House. Jaunting cars a local methof of transportation is a good fun way to travel around the area. For the fishermen, there is good salmon and trout fishing in the lakes and rivers in and around Glenbeigh.Sea fishing trips can be made from Kells Bay, Portmagee and Ballinskelligs, down the coast, and boats can also be taken from here out to Skellig Michael,home to hundreds of puffins. The good local guides always point out the dolphins, seals as you crusie around, and in addition to the area having one of world's largest gannet colonies there are often rare bird sightings to marvel over.
