Located in a beautiful area of North Kerry, 'Doon Mountane' is an unspoilt rural peaceful part of West Ireland. 'Kenny's Cottage' has been there hundred of years. While it was a ruin, it was knocked and in it's place an architecturally designed 2 storey building, rebuilt on the site. To complement these beautiful surroundings the building feels light and airy, with it open plan rooms, this uncluttered peaceful haven is just the place to unwind. Not too rural, only 3 mins (2km) from Ballyheigue village and the beach, one of the sandiest, blue flag beaches in Ireland. Village has everything for a holiday break - hotel, pubs, diners, playground, golf, shops etc... Swimming pool, sauna, gym only 7 mins away in Banna resort, pay in £6.50 for the day. Tralee is only 15 mins away, a fabulous city, great shopping, dining etc. Kerry Airport (flights direct from Stansted, Frankfurt, Hahn and Dub) 30 mins. Rosslare is 3.5 hrs away. Cork 2 hrs.

Hi my name is Aileen, my Husband is Sean, we have 3 children Sean,Aine & Colm. My husband and I both work, but spend most of our holidays in Beautiful Kerry, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the beachs.

The area goes back in my husbands family countless generations and they must have been good at keeping secrets! As it is so breath taking beautifull and unspoilt.
