Brittas Bay is less than 1 hour's drive from Dublin. As a result many use it as the perfect base to tour the whole of the Sunny South East of Ireland. There are plenty of places to walk around and see such as Wicklow Head, Avondale House and Gardens, historic Glendalough, the Wicklow Mountains, Powerscourt House and Gardens, Mount Usher Gardens and Wicklow Historic Gaol The house is also perfectly positioned within easy reach of many of Ireland's most popular golf courses including The European Club (2 km), Druids Glen (15km), Woodenbridge (8km), Wicklow Golf Club (7km) and Blainroe Golf Club (5km) Nearby are a few horse riding centres which offer lessons for adults and children including Bel Air Equestrian Centre and the Devil's Glen Equestrian Centre.
