There is a full time caretaker, 3 tennis courts and even a children's football pitch! Brittas Bay Park itself is a 800m walk from Brittas Bay Beach - a Blue Flag 5km beach with lovely dunes. It is only 1 hour's drive from Dublin. It can be used as the perfect base to tour the whole of the Sunny South East of Ireland. There are plenty of places for light walking or hiking such as Wicklow Head, Avondale House and Gardens, historic Glendalough, the Wicklow Mountains, Powerscourt Gardens the beautiful Mount Usher Gardens. The house is also perfectly positioned within easy reach of many of Ireland’s renowned golf courses including The European Club (2 km), Druids Glen (15km), Blainroe Golf Club (5km), Woodenbridge (8 km), Nearby are horse riding centres which offer lessons for adults and children including Bel Air Equestrian Centre and the Devil's Glen.

Prices are for the property per week in Euros.
Electricity is charged at 5 euros per day June - August; 9 euros per day rest of year.
Bed linen and towels are provided free of charge. However a separate security deposit of 100 euros is required with the final booking payment.
Changeover day
Changeover day is on Saturday. We ask our guests to depart no later than 10.30am. New arrivals should arrive at or after 4.00pm.

Notes on accommodation
This house is suitable for families. It has two bedrooms downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. This arrangement suits many families with smaller children. The garden has a grass area to play on, in addition to a lovely deck which wraps around the south and west of the house. There are children's toys, board games, jigsaws and videos available to use.

Part of a development of 50 detached houses, most of which are owner occupied during the holiday season. The development is on its own, surrounded by fields.

This house is very accessible located approximately 2 km off the main Dublin - Wexford road (N-11). It is approximately 1 hour from Dublin port and 45 minutes from Dun Laoghaire, and 90 minutes from Rosslare Europort.
Distances
It is a 5 minute drive to the local shop for basic groceries and for petrol. There are 2 local pubs (with restaurants) within a 5 minute drive. Wicklow, a large town with lovely cafes, boutiques and shops is 12km away. Arklow, another large town is 15km (see below for more info).

Nearby are a few horse riding centres which offer lessons for adults and children including

Within a 30 minute drive there is Glenroe Open Farm and Playground, Greenan Farm Museum and Maze and the Clara Lara Water Fun Park - all a fantastic day out for the children.
Within the main towns of Wicklow and Arklow there are tourist centres, banks, restaurants, pubs etc. Arklow has a 24 hour Tesco, plus Aldi, Lidl etc and a fantastic new shopping centre with multiplex cinemas also opened in Arklow about 4 months ago.
Within a 30 minute drive there is a trout farm.
Finally, this is an ideal location for anyone who enjoys hill walking or forest walks. The Wicklow Way is one of Europe’s most beautiful way marked trails and the Wicklow Mountains and many forests are within an easy drive of the house.
