The cottage is one of seven tucked away in a quiet cul-du-sac just moments from the centre of Bantry. It is wonderfully located for a night out in one of Bantry's award winning restaurant's as well being easy driving distance to some of West Cork's best attractions, which includes the wonderful Mizen, Sheep's Head and the Beara Peninsulas, Gougane Barra Forest Park and the stunning Barley Cove beach. Both Glengarrfiff and Garnish Island are 10 miles away. Further afield are Kenmare and Kilarney. The cottage has recently been refurnished to a high standard with a newly fitted kitchen and shower room and attention to detail will make your stay even more comfortable. The working, open cast iron fire gives a welcoming focal point to relax by, after a day out sightseeing. There is a lawned garden, furniture and BBQ to use on warm sunny evenings, if the attractions of Bantry do not lure you back into town!

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in euros. Payment Sterling also accepted. Weekend and mid-week breaks taken outside peak times at 75% of weekly rate. Electricty and gas charge of 35 euro per week to be paid locally. Discounts for long lets out of season considered.

Living/dining area has oak flooring and enjoys a welcoming cast iron fire place, leather sofa and armchair as well as an occasional chair. Colour TV with DVD player. An extending dining table with four chairs and a baby high chair is available for use. |

Garden furniture and BBQ are provided. Travel cot and high chair are readily available. Please note the that garden is not fenced in but is away from the road. |

Bantry is a thriving market town which enjoys a weekly food market (Friday's) as well as an annual Mussell Fair. Traditional music can be heard in local bars and it also enjoys a wide choice or award winning restaurants. 18th century Bantry House with its formal gardens hosts musical concerts in the library throughout the year. The Bantry French Armada Exhibition Centre is located in the grounds. The 3 screen cinema shows the latest releases. Salmon and trout fishing can be enjoyed on the Coomhola and Ouvane Rivers and Lake Lough Bofinne. Also sea fishing on Bantry Bay. Walkers can experience The Sheep's Head Walk; The Beara Way: Nature trails in Glengarriff Natural Woods or Gougane Barra National Park. Hill walking on the Caha Mountains. Watersports available in Schull and Adrigole. Whalewatching boat trips as well as scenic boat trips from local Crookhaven. The helpful Bantry Tourist Board will update you on upcoming local festivals and events.
