The cottage overlooks the Shannon Estuary and is an ideal touring base for Kerry, Limerick and Clare via the Tarbert/Killimer car ferry 2 miles from cottage. Beaches close by and golf courses close by. The famous Ballybunnion golf course 14 miles and Adare golf course 18 miles. Visit the famous cliffs of Moher in Clare and our National Park, Kerry has numerous beautiful places to visit, Dingle and Killarney are within easy reach, and the beautiful Conor Pass is definitely worth a drive, the views from this drive are breathtaking. Limerick is a wonderful shopping city and the Bunratty Village is definitely worth a visit. The quaint Adare village is also worth visiting with the thatched cottages lining the streets.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in euros. Long winter lets 6 weeks or over will be let at 120 euros per week, weekend rates available on request, Midweek rates available on request.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday, however, this is flexible and midweek breaks are provided for. Arrival time is 4pm and departure time is 10am.

Accommodation
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed and en-suite.
Bedroom 2 with two single beds.
Bedroom 3 with one single bed.
Bathrooms: En-suite to bedroom with shower, WC and sink.
Bathroom 2 with electric shower (bath/shower over), WC and sink.
Kitchen: Kitchen table faces a window over-looking the Shannon Estuary.Kitchen equipment includes, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave and cooker/hob.
Living Rooms: The living room has a beautiful solid fuel stove for those cool evenings, TV, DVD player and CD player/radio.
Cleaning/towels/

Towels and bed linen are included. Tea towels, cloths and also a welcome pack on arrival and a starter pack for the solid fuel stove.

Notes on accommodation
The cottage is fully fenced in so it is suitable for children. The heating is oil and this is meter read on departure as is the electricity.

Accessibility
The property is accessible for wheelchair users, as it is all on one level.

Outside
BBQ is provided as is a picnic bench, this is located at the back of the house and is very private.

Coast/Beach
The cottage is on the banks of the Shannon Estuary and there are Beaches within 10 miles of the Cottage, also one can swim from both the piers in Glin and Tarbert, which have a life-guard in the summer months, (Both are 2 miles from the cottage), for the cooler days there are indoor heated pools within 14 miles.

Golf
Ballybunnion Golf Course 14 miles. Adare Golf Course 18 miles.
Ballybunnion Golf Course is overlooking the sea and is also where President Clinton played golf while in Ireland. The Irish Open is being held in Adare Golf Course.

Travel
Nearest airport Shannon 50 miles. Car hire or use of car is essential.

Distances
Glin village is 2 miles and Tarbert village is 2 miles, there is a pub/restaurant within walking distance. Listowel is 12 miles from the cottage this is the nearest town.

Further details
There are grocery shops in Glin and Tarbert, the shops in these villages are open until 9pm in winter and 10pm in summer, there is also a bank in both villages the bank in Tarbert is open Monday to Friday 10am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3pm excluding Thursday, it is open until 5pm, the bank in Glin is open Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

There is a Chinese take-away in both villages, and there are pubs in Tarbert serving food all day, there are numerous lovely restaurants in Listowel, as there is a food fair in Listowel annually the restaurants tend to be of a high standard. There are heated indoor swimming pools in neighbouring villages which are very modern as they have been built in 2007, also these pools have fully equipped gyms which can be paid on a daily basis. There are plenty of rivers for fishing, and the permits are available in many shops.

Booking notes
A deposit is required on booking and the remaining balance is due on arrival, heating and electricity is meter read on departure.

Lovely warm cottage, great holiday, Conor pass well worth the drive.

Ideal Location for touring Kerry, Limerick and Clare, lovely cottage and could not improve on it.
