Our house is a newly built bungalow located 5 minutes from a Blue Flag beach and very convenient for touring the west coast of Clare with the town of Kilkee a 7 minute drive and and Kilrush a 15 minute drive away. You can take a stunning coastal drive with magnificent cliffs from Kilkee which brings you near to Loop head, the most westerly point of Ireland and to Carrigaholt, a small, unspoilt fishing village which has a great seafood restaurant. From here you can go dolphin watching or fishing. We are a 1 hour drive to the Cliffs of Moher and the famous Burren region.

Westhaven B&B
Bedroom 1 has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds with separate bathroom. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers, TV.

Notes on accommodation
We have a sitting/dining room for guests with Satellite TV showing Sky movies and sports.

Coast/Beach
5 minute drive to a Blue Flag beach, very safe for swimming or if you like to walk on the beach, the beach at Doonbeg Golf Links with its rolling waves is a 10 minute drive away.

Golf
The famous Doonbeg Links Golf Course is a 10 minute drive away. There are also Golf courses at Lahinch, Kilrush and Kilkee.

Travel
Nearest airport is Shannon, a 50 minute drive. Car hire essential.

Distances
5 minute drive to village of Doonbeg. 7 minute drive to town of Kilkee. 15 minute drive to town of Kilrush. 1 hour to Cliffs of Moher, Burren Region.
