Welcome to Suaimhneas. The cottage is situated on its own private enclosed grounds which provide ample parking, safe playground for children and secluded area to relax and sunbathe or enjoy an open air picnic and view the scenic countryside.Combining the best of both worlds it has every modern convenience and all the romantic appeal of a traditional cottage.The interiors are finished in natural wood which creates a warm welcoming atmosphere. Suaimhneas is approved by the Irish Tourist Board. It is located 1km from the village of Ballylickey which is nestling on the edge of beautiful Bantry Bay with the backdrop of the Caha Mountain Range. Here there are hotels, award winning restaurants and pubs, supermarkets, and it is on the bus route. There are several little bays and inlets where you can swim and fish. The cottage is 7km from the maritime heritage town of Bantry, and Glengarriff is 12km away and is the gateway for touring both the Beara peninsula and the Ring of Kerry.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner.
Bank Holiday weekends throughout the year @ 250 euros.
Christmas and New Year @ 300 Euros.
Extra charges: electricity, meter is read on arrival payable on departure for amount used.

Changeover day
Changeover day for June, July, August is Saturday.
Rest of year is flexible.
Arrival is not before 4pm and departure before 12.

Bedroom 2, 1 double bed, 1 cot upstairs.
Bedroom 3, 2 single bed, twin upstairs.
All bedrooms have chairs, wardrobes and dressing tables and reading lamps.
Bathrooms: Bathroom 1, toilet, bath with shower, wash hand basin. Bathroom 2, toilet, wash hand basin.
Bathroom 3, toilet, shower enclosure, wash hand basin.
Kitchen: Fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, clothes dryer, grill, 4 ring stove. Dining area, child's highchair seating for 6 people.
Living Rooms: The cottage consists of a large comfortable lounge with an open stone fireplace and colour TV and DVD. Off this is the kitchen cum dining room.This is fully equipped with all the delph, cutlery and cooking utensils, gas cooker and microwave and fridge.
Other: TV, radio, stereo system, CD, audio tape and DVD player are provided. Outside there is garden, barbecue, parking, garage, 6 garden chairs. Wheelchair accessible, suitable for elderly or infirm, children welcome, pets considered, low allergen environment.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and towels are supplied free of charge for all beds as are duvets and pillows. A travel cot is also available.

Notes on accommodation
The heating is electric - meter is read on arrival and is payable on departure depending on amount used. The property is child friendly with enclosed garden and gravel area, patio and lawn and there is a cot and highchair available.
