The house has a very large open plan living area which includes a fully fitted kitchen with counter area, a large dining space and a very spacious living area. This room has a south west facing aspect and as a consequence will receive sunlight all day long. Underfloor heating makes this house really cosy all year round. To the rear is a mini leisure centre which includes a six person jacuzzi, three person sauna and a gym. 1 mile to the west the river Barrow flows through the quaint scenic village of St. Mullins. To the east, spectacular views of the Blackstairs Mountains can be seen. 4 miles away is the riverside town of Graiguenamanagh with its 11th Century Duiske Abbey.

Accessibility

Wheelchair access is through the french doors. Large downstairs bathroom plus 1 bedroom on the ground floor.
Outside
Paved patio area with a charcoal barbecue is directly outside the french doors leading from the living room. Let your troubles float away in the hot spring 6 seater jacuzzi which has a total of 23 jets including moto massage, DX jets. The 3 person sauna has its own radio/CD player. There is also an electric treadmill, cross trainer and rowing machine. To the front of the jacuzzi is a paved patio area. Large lawn area is perfect for children to play and run around. The property gets its name from the old stone lime kiln in the garden which dates back more than 100 years.

45 minutes drive will take you to the beaches of the Hook Head Peninsula, Co. Wexford -
Duncannon - a large sandy beach where cars are allowed to park on the beach
Fethard-on-Sea (2 beaches)
Tramore, Co. Waterford large seaside resort - 50 minutes drive
Curracloe, Co. Wexford - 1 hour drive beautiful sandy beach used in the filming of Saving Private Ryan.

There are excellent pubs and restaurants in nearby St. Mullins, Graiguenamanagh, Inistioge, New Ross. This property is ideal for walkers who can explore the many beautiful lochs
(bypass of weir) along the river Barrow and for the more energetic, hiking on the Blackstairs mountains is highly recommended. Fishing enthusiasts will be well served by the rivers Barrow and Nore.
In New Ross the replica emigrant famine ship (The Dunbrody) can be visited, while a further 6 miles out the road is the John F. Kennedy Park and Aboretum. The Hook Head lighthouse is also well worth a visit as is Kilkenny Castle with its beautiful gardens.
Large modern shopping centres can be found in all the surrounding towns.
