There is a small patio area outside, there is also a tennis court on-site. There is plenty of space outside for children to play safely.
Golf
Killarney Golf and fishing Club (3 courses, 2 Championship) is about 1 mile away. Seaside links within 1 hour drive include Ballybunion (old and new), Tralee, Dooks, Waterville is about 90 mins drive.

Hill walkers paradise in the Kerry mountains, easier walks in the National Park, wonderful drives around the Ring of Kerry,
