Guest comments
"It is a fabulous place to stay - we found ourselves spending lots of time just pottering around the cottage because it was so lovely. We will definitely come again and will recommend it to our friends".
Gerry & Liz, Gloucestershire, UK

"Thank you so much for the weekend. I must say your cottage is spectacular - you have a real eye for interiors and the quality of the renovation and furnishings is stunning. We had 3 days of great weather... the kids were even swimming in the sea. They didn't want to leave and now want to live there!"
Adam & Jane, Hertfordshire, UK

Owner profile

Alessandro & Julie

About the owner
Julie and Alessandro are based in Twickenham, south west London, and live with their 3 teenage children. Julie has recently given up her conference-organising business and is starting a vintage and home accessories business this year. Alessandro works in central London for a carbon markets consultancy and has a keen interest in the climate change arena. The couple (finally) got married on the Sheep's Head in May 2010 after a long courtship. They had a fabulous big day on the Sheeps Head, with a church service in Ahakista, followed by drinks at the Tin Pub and dinner at Blairs Cove House in Durrus. West Cork has come to mean a lot to them both in the last few years so it was the obvious place to celebrate their lives together so far.

Year purchased: 2006
