Radnarc Na Mara is beautifully situated on a quiet country road on the edge of the Burren between Doolin village and the Ballinalacken Castle. Turn left outside the front gate, and it is just a short walk to Ballinalackan Castle gorge, breathtaking views of the Aran Islands and the Burren, with its wildflowers, trickling streams, subterranean rivers and boulders bulging out of the landscape. Just around the corner from the house is the largest Stalactite in the Northern Hemisphere (now open to the public and a must see). From the sunroom, kitchen, lounge and back garden you will enjoy beautiful ocean views and the Cliffs of Moher. Children and adults alike can enjoy the delights of the surrounding countryside, cows, horses and donkeys, who will gladly accept a carrot or two as you pass by. Less than five-minute drive to Doolin village and a 5 minute drive to Lisdoonvarna.

The area is famous for its dramatic and rugged coast line (the Cliffs of Moher) all around and The Burren; which is listed by Time Out as one of the Top 100 Natural 'Must sees'. The Burren is a geological phenomena that resembles the moon yet hosts over half of Ireland's flora types.

There are airports at Shannon (60 minutes drive) and Galway (90 minutes Drive) with good connections to Europe and USA. Car hire is probably essential.

Further details
The local area offers great places to eat out - from the famous pubs (McDermott’s, McGann’s and O'Connor’s) to award winning hotel dining (Creagan’s Castle) and bistro restaurants (Cullinan’s, Vaughan’s, HolyWell, BlackOak).
