The house is elegantly furnished and is within easy walking distance of the beach and village centre. The cottage features a large enclosed garden, is pet friendly and has a bright modern interior. Clearwaters Cottage is located along the Kinnegar Road in Rathmullan village, County Donegal. The village's two hotels Rathmullan House and Fort Royal are also located on this road making it one of the most sought after areas for family holidays in the northwest of Ireland. The cottage is within easy walking distance of these 2 hotels, of Rathmullan's fabulous 2km long sandy beach and of the village's shops and pubs. The village itself has a pier extending into Lough Swilly and it is from here that you can catch the car ferry (June - September) to Buncrana and onwards to the rest of the Inishowen peninsula.

The cottage is located between two hotels, Rathmullan House and Fort Royal Hotel. Two supermarkets, four pubs, coffee and wine bar. The ferry service runs from Rathmullan to Buncranna from May 2005 - Sept. 2005 There is a small marina attached to the pier where boats can be hired for fishing or sightseeing on Lough Swilly Flight of the Earls Heritage Centre. Golden sands equestrian centre for pony trekking. Ideal for hillwalking.
