Completed in 2009, this superb British owned Villa offers everything that you could wish for a homely yet peaceful holiday. The villa is situated in a most tranquil position at the end of a 'no through' lane on the outskirts of a Hindu village (where there is no mosque to disturb you!) yet is close to the west coast beaches and Senggigi village. The extensive open plan living area, which opens on to the swimming pool, contains many traditional Indonesian artefacts and furnishings, has seating for 10, a dining table and chairs for 8 and satellite TV. There are 3 large air conditioned bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom. The well tended terraced garden has an abundance of tropical plants and shrubs and an enticing 8m x 4m x 1.5m deep pool. The shaded gazebo, with its sun loungers and deck chairs, which is adjacent to the pool, is the ideal place to relax and enjoy this tropical paradise. Your stay at the villa will be an experience not to be forgotten - paradise found!

Prices are for the property per night in euros (not per person). For prices for periods longer than 4 weeks please contact the owner. Payment can be made by Sterling or Euro bank transfer or cheque to reach the owner no later than 4 weeks prior to the start of the booking. Under certain circumstances, it may be possible to pay in cash on arrival but only by special arrangement with the owner. A returnable security deposit of 100euro (or equivalent) is required in cash on arrival.

The maid will clean the villa daily. Towels, linen etc are provided and are washed and replaced, as required. The staff will do laundry service for you (at your own risk) at a cost of 5 euro per wash. There is a gardener / maintenance man on-site daily. |

Notes on accommodation
This is a privately owned villa standing in it's own secluded grounds, not on a complex, and is ideal for family holidays. Maid, gardener and night security man are included in the rental. At a small extra cost we can supply a cook and/or butler if required.
Accessibility
The property is not suitable for wheel chair users.
Outside
The villa has a beautiful terraced garden containing many tropical plants and shrubs which is lovingly maintained by the gardener. The private 8mx4mx1.5m deep tiled swimming pool is a joy. The large shaded gazebo, adjacent to the pool, with its sun beds and deck chairs is the ideal place to relax. The gazebo has its own cooking facilities for el fresco living!
Coast/Beach
It is only a short walk to the nearest beaches - a 5 minute stroll - but, if you would like to go further afield, (the entire coast line is fantastic), then you can take the local bus or a taxi, both of which are incredibly affordable! This is a tropical paradise, so the choice is endless.
Golf
There are two golf courses on Lombok Island - one to championship standards. The courses will collect and return you to the villa if required.
Travel
The new international airport is now open. Our agent can arrange collection from the airport (recommended). At present, Lombok is served internationally only by Singapore Airlines, otherwise it is necessary to fly via Jakarta or Bali or take the ferry from Bali.
The villa has it's own new 8 seat car which can be hired for the duration of your stay. Please contact the owner for details.
Distances
The village of Senggigi, which has many restaurants and shops, is about 5km. The only town (Mataram) is about 30 minutes away. Mataram is the only town that has any sort of western shopping and has a modern shopping mall with a western owned supermarket.
Further details
Lombok, situated about 20 miles SE of Bali, is very Indonesian has a population of about 3 million. It is a fascinating island and is said to be what Bali was like 30 years ago. You will find beautiful empty beaches the length of the west and south coasts, wonderful, friendly people, a way of life that you will envy and prices that are amazingly affordable. Please sample it before it gets spoilt.
Lombok is also famous for its diving and snorkeling - particularly off the Gili Islands - which are well worth a visit for the diving, beaches and atmosphere.

Booking notes
We require a £50 deposit with the booking with the balance due either by Sterling or euro bank transfer or cheque to reach the owner no later than 4 weeks before the start of your holiday. Under certain circumstances, it may be possible to pay in cash on arrival, but only by prior arrangement with the owner. We have an agent in Senggigi who will see you in and deal with payment etc.

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our (3 month) stay at your villa. Every one of us from the youngest at 2 years to the oldest at 66 years had a fantastic time. My problem was the longer I stayed there the more I loved it. Your villa has everything. The pool area is so private and secluded. We felt really comfortable and the villa itself is situated just right for getting around the island. I think you must have the best staff in Indonesia. I could not praise them enough. About the owner
We are British citizens but have lived in Normandy and Brittany for a number of years. We visited Lombok in 2007 and fell in love with the island. As a result, we purchased some land and set about building the villa. We absolutely adore it and would love to go more regularly but, with 5 dogs and 7 cats, it's not so easy but we go whenever we can. If you do your research, flying to Indonesia need not be too expensive - at the moment (December 2009) the best deal to Jakarta seems to be Turkish Airlines at £428. I hope that you will get as much pleasure as we have had from this wonderful (and not so well known) island.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Lombok is just a brilliant island. We fell in love with everything that it had to offer and could not resist the option to do something about it. We were so lucky to find such a peaceful and quiet location in the Senggigi area on the outskirts of a Hindu village which means that you avoid being woken every morning at 4am by the loud speakers from the Muslim mosques! The people are so friendly and the life style so laid back - paradise found ! Please enjoy it with us !
