Changeover day

G1 (Studio Apartment, Sleeps 2)

The studio has a combined living/sleeping area with 2 single beds, which can be placed together by request if needed. There is an open plan kitchen layout with a large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, 2 ring hot plate and an assortment of crockery, glassware and cutlery. A glass breakfast bar is accompanied by 2 adjustable, retro bar stools. The bathroom is a spacious wet room with shower facilities, a newly installed hot water boiler system, hair dryer and a removable mosquito screen. Storage is provided by a modest, fitted wardrobe with hanging space. There is also an iron & board provided in the apartment. The television has a full cable package with lots of English channels & a DVD player.

G4 (Studio Apartment, Sleeps 2)

Notes on accommodation
Both apartments have been newly refurbished and benefit from temperature controlled, wall mounted air-conditioning units as well as adjustable ceiling fans. The apartments, being on the ground floor, have easy access to the courtyard area, which can be seen from the windows of the apartments. The rooms will be cleaned every other day by a domestic cleaner and the sheets and bath towels will be replaced twice a week or as requested.

Accessibility
Although the apartments are on the ground level, there are several steps at the entrance which make it less suitable for wheelchair access. The layout of the apartments are open plan and easy to maneuver through.

Outside
There is an outside courtyard with table and chairs with views of the palm groves that surround the building. There is also a roof terrace with views of the sea and the sun as it sets, thus the name of the building, 'Sunset Residency'. A swim in the sea is a short three minute walk. There is private parking area for hired cars or motor bikes, however the manager of the apartments can provide taxi services for a reasonable cost.

Coast/Beach
Varca beach is located only 3 minutes walk away and is part of one of the longest stretches of sandy beaches in South Goa extending from Mobor to Colva. There are numerous beach hut restaurants and hotels that are dotted along this coastline.

Travel
The main town of Varca is 5 minutes drive and hosts several shops, supermarkets and a ‘Baskin Robbins’ ice-cream parlor. The larger towns of Colva and Margao are 20 minutes drive and provide a greater variety of shops and facilities, including the main post office. Dabolim and Vasco-de-Garma airports (international and domestic) are 40 minutes drive &, if you wish, you will be collected on arrival or dropped off on departure by our manager, Steve at a cost of 800 rs (non-A/C) or 1,000 rs (A/C).

Distances
If you go South for 15 minutes by car you will reach the vibrant fishing village of Mobor, which is bustling with great seafood restaurants, jewelery shops and local bars. River cruises can be organized from here through Steve.

Further details
A complete book of local tours and attractions will be presented to you on arrival, detailing everything from where to eat to the latest in dental treatments. There are trips to see the Spice Plantation or crocodile boat cruises and many Hindu temples to explore.

Booking notes
Our rates are reasonable for this area, as such 50% of the amount will be due in advance when booking. The remaining 50% must be paid two weeks prior to occupation. Payments can be made by direct bank transfer to our UK bank and further details will be given upon booking. All bank charges must be paid by the client and not passed on to our bank. After confirmation of bookings there will be no refunds offered.

the sunsets are beautiful and when the tide goes out
