Our newly built cottage has high ceilings making it very cool and airy, air-conditioning is fitted in the living room and both bedrooms as well as ceiling fans. Although close to the busier areas the complex is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Prices are for the cottage per week in UK pounds with the taxi journey (for 4 people) from/to the airport included. If an additional taxi is required please add £25 to the booking fee. You will be met at the airport by a very friendly, English-speaking taxi driver, a Goan by the name of Jay. He will drive you to your cottage and help you settle in. Jay will be more than happy to help you with any aspect of your holiday and will provide you with a price guide for taxi fares throughout Goa. A mobile phone is available in the cottage for local calls - which you can top up, if needed. Jay can help with this if you wish. A small welcome pack will be provided.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Minimum booking for 3 nights during May to September charged at £50 Subsequent nightly rate £15. Taxis not included from May to September or for any bookings of less than a week. Long term lets negotiable.
Changeover day
Changeover days and times are flexible and wherever possible you will be free to stay in the cottage until it is time to leave for the airport.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Master bedroom with king size teak bed, cane bedside tables & chairs, double wardrobe with 2 large drawers, hairdryer, alarm clock, air conditioning, en-suite and small balcony. 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and a 3rd bed underneath. |
| Bathrooms: | Both bathrooms are fully tiled with a WC, sink, good shower, mirror and shelves. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is fully fitted with wooden units and sink, there is a fridge with a small freezer compartment, washing machine, gas hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, sandwich maker and water filter (no need to buy bottled water). |
| Living Rooms: | The living room is air-conditioned and furnished with a 3 seater settee, 2 single chairs, large wall mirror, cabinet (small selection of games and books) and coffee table all in teak. TV (local cable) and DVD player, a small selection of DVDs. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Spare bedlinen is available, together with hand towels, bath towels and tea towels all freshly laundered for your arrival. The cottage will be cleaned at each changeover and at least once during your stay (of 1 week or more). Cleaning materials provided. |

Outside
The complex is very family friendly with a children's play area, badminton court, clubhouse and 2 swimming pools. In the rear garden a patio extends along the back of the property with a patio table, chairs, sunbeds and brick built BBQ. The garden is newly stocked with a variety of tropical plants.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Anjuna which is approx 1.5km away, Baga Beach (which extends on to Calangute and Candolim) is about a 10-15 min taxi ride and is far more commercial than Anjuna Beach, with many beach shacks and shops. You can even enjoy a massage whilst you are relaxing at the beach! Highly recommended! There are also activities based here, such as dolphin boat rides, ‘banana’ rides, jet skis etc. The less crowded beaches, Mandrem and Ashvem are also within easy reach.
Travel
The local airport is Dabolim which is about an hour’s taxi journey from the cottage. Cars and scooters are available to hire locally, taxis are plentiful, cheap and are most visitors' preferred means of transport.
Distances
The nearest village is Anjuna, 5 mins in a taxi. Mapusa is about 10 minute taxi ride inland, Baga about 10 mins in the other direction, and Calangute 5 mins past Baga. Old Goa and Panjim are 30-40 mins away depending on the time of day.
Further details
Two supermarkets in Anjuna village, selling almost everything you would need for a self-catering holiday. There is one bank (Bank of Baroda) in Anjuna, several bureaux de change at Baga and plenty of banks in both Calangute and Mapusa. If you are in any doubt ask Jay - as our kids are fond of saying Jay is wonderful, Jay knows everything!! There are numerous good quality reasonably priced restaurants close by – in fact you will be spoilt for choice. There is a small and friendly hotel near the entrance to the complex, The Tamarind, where you can eat a decent mid-price meal, if you don't want to wander too far. For the kids, a Domino’s pizza has recently opened in Anjuna (established in Calangute) - the pizzas are very good and they will deliver to the cottage. There is also a chip shop in Calangute! Go karting is close by in Arpora as well as a popular evening market on Saturday night. Crocodile trips and the Spice Plantation, where you can wash an elephant are about an hour away.
Booking notes
Booking by e-mail is preferable. A non-refundable deposit of £50 per week is payable on booking. On receipt of the deposit the booking will be confirmed. The balance will be due 6 weeks before arrival.
Don't forget Visas are required for travel to Goa.
