There are good bus services to Goa's capital, Panjim, Calangute and Mapusa, the regional market, which is a must visit. The apartment is 10 minutes walk to the beach, and within short walking distance of many excellent restaurants. The second floor apartment has three balconies and the pool is equipped with loungers to boost that sun tan.

Nearest airport is Dabolim(GOI) which is about an hour's drive from the property. A car is unnecessary as there is a plethora of excellent resturants, bars and shops within walking distance, and buses to the two major towns stop 100 yards from the apartment. Taxis are usually found waiting in the lane which passes the complex.
Distances
From Villascengte, Calangute is about 3 km, Fort Aguada the same, and Panjim and Mapusa are about 10 km.
Further details
There are many good local restaurants, offering a variety of cuisines. There are two major supemarkets on the main road with four minutes walk of the apartment. There are also many local shops offering fabrics, jewellry, tailoring, electronics, pharmacy, etc. There is a branch of the excellent Fab India store within five minutes, where some of India's best clothing and furnishing products can be purchased.
