This modern apartment is in a private Complex in a secluded and peaceful part of Arpora, Goa, with easy access (just a few minutes walk) to local shops and a variety of Restaurants. All tastes are catered for here with a selection of Indian and European cuisine. Fish is a speciality of Goa and you must try some during your stay here! Just 5 minutes drive to the popular beaches of Baga and Calangute and within easy reach of the other Northern beaches.The apartment is fully Air Conditioned and has 2 double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Utilising the double Sofa bed, the apartment will sleep 6. There is a spacious and fully furnished living/dining/kitchen area and each room has it`s own private Balcony. There is a shared pool with a shallow area for the safety of the children and is set in beautiful landscaped gardens. There is also a private, gated (lockable) Car Port for the use of guests who have or hire a car/motorbike.

Notes on accommodation
As this is also a Residential complex, please do not drape laundry, towels etc over the balcony railings. We have provided a clothes dryer rack for this purpose.
Take a little time to read the rules of the complex, this will ensure that you and other residents will enjoy your stay. Thank you.
Accessibility
The apartment is all on one level, however, there are steps to the front of the apartment and pool area, so this could make it difficult for wheelchair users.
Outside
The shared areas of the Complex are beautifully laid out to gardens and include a large, shared swimming pool with a smaller, shallow pool attached for young children. For the fitness fanatic, there is also a club house block with a gym and jaccuzi. A running track surrounds the complex for that early morning limber up!
The apartment also has it`s own gated car port situated below, should you decide to rent a vehicle during your stay.
Coast/Beach
The popular Baga beach is just 5 minutes drive away, or 20 minutes on foot. Visit Britto`s restaurant for dinner and relax with an after dinner drink looking out at the Arabian sea lapping at the golden sands.
Ingo`s Saturday Night market is also just a few minutes walk away and don`t forget to barter! It will be expected!
Candolim is just 7 miles away and well worth a visit for it`s nightlife including its many restaurants, bars and shops. For a warm wecome try 21 Coco`s in Candolim

Dabolim International airport is 50 km away, approximately 45 minutes by car. We can arrange for you to be met at the airport and taken to the apartment if required. Prices according to the number in your party.

Further details
There are a variety of Restaurants in the area, many of which will provide European meals for those who prefer this type of food. However, the local food is very good and Goa is renowned for it`s fish dishes. The Tandoori Kingfish is just delicious and the speciality curry "Sorpotel" (A spicy, hot red curry made with pork) is wonderful - eat it with Saanas - little spongy crumpet type breads made to soak up the rich red sauce! All regions of India are represented in the cuisine in Goa, so be adventurous and let your palate run wild!
The currency here is Indian Rupees. Look around for the best exchange rates, very often the best rate can be obtained at the Bank, but if you decide to exchange your money in the local shops, please haggle as this will usually get you a better rate.
Transport here is either Rickshaw (tuk tuk), bus or taxi. Make sure you agree the price with your driver (Rickshaw or taxi) before you get in. There are many good drivers who will stay with you for the whole day if you want to go shopping, again, agree a price before you hire them.

About the owner
We are a family of four, Mum- Jenny, Dad-Tony and the children, Ruth and Alex (twins of 9 years) We live on the outskirts of London in the UK. Tony works full time and I am a full time Mum to the twins. We also have 7 dogs! All Shetland Sheepdogs (Look like a miniature "Lassie"). They are my hobby and I show them in my spare time
I spend a lot of time running the twins around to their after school activities - Karate, Aikido and Cub Scouts - their social diary is very full with their parties and sleepovers, so a break in Goa is very welcome!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
My Husband and his family have their origins in this part of the beautiful Indian state of Goa, and it seemed logical that we would want our children to have a connection with their roots. The twins (our children) love coming on holiday to Goa where they are thoroughly spoilt by all the lovely people they come in contact with there.
The peace and security of having our own home in the complex, but the easy access to the other places of interest, aand the friendly local people. It all adds up to a wonderful place for a family holiday in the sun. Weather pretty much guaranteed!

This is a home from home, a place to completely relax and unwind from the daily grind. Eat out or in as the mood takes you. Do as little (just laze around the pool), or be as adventurous as you like (hire a car and explore). The choice is yours!
