There is one week's minimum rental. Prices include free use of the Intercontinental luxury swimming pool, a short walk away from the villa.

Self Catering Apartment (2 Bedrooms)

The apartment is exquisitely furnished, with beautiful artworks and a large open-plan living space - containing a three piece suite, a coffee table and side-lighting, a large colour TV with cable and movie channels, plus a dining area for eating. The large fully-functioning kitchen is ideal for guests with children and includes a fridge and cooker. The bathroom is newly tiled, with a solar panelled hot-water shower and western toilet. The whole house is spotless and to delivered to a high Western standard. There is also a patio and porch, with lounging cane furniture, for sitting out in the cool of the day or the night.

Accommodation Only Rooms (6 x 1 Bedroom)

Upstairs there are six double rooms all with double beds, which can be rented seperately or together. Three are extremely large ensuite bedrooms with beautiful wall-hangings and a small balcony area. These rooms also have a settee area where guests can relax. The two other double rooms are smaller, but have wonderful large balconies with a superb view of uninterrupted Indian countryside. They share a bathroom and 2 toilets with the 'single' room - which has no balcony, but does have a double bed.

Notes on accommodation
The house is perfect for a large party, or for people interested in renting individual rooms upstairs, or the apartment downstairs as seperate units. There is a large garden with patio area and outside furniture, so guests are welcome to enjoy this space also. The garden backs onto a wonderful countryside view - and is currently being planted with a new lawn.

Outside
The villa includes free access to the luxury swimming pool at the Intercontinental Hotel, a short 10 minute walk away. The pool is gorgeous, with comfortable sunloungers and umbrellas. There is also a children's pool. This is a blissful environment in which to truly relax and enjoy all that life has to offer.

Coast/Beach
The beautiful, secluded and un-developed private beach at the Intercontinental is available for villa guests to use. It is a 10-15 minute walk away from the villa, just beyond the swimming pool. The water is safe there, with gently sloping sand beds making it ideal for children.

Golf
Villa guests have full access to all the facilities at the Intercontinental Hotel, including their amazing 9 hole golf course. Golf-hire, golf buggies and caddies are also available for hire. Villa guests are entitled to 20% off the regular charges. A round of golf can cost as little as ten pounds.

Travel
The villa is 1.5 hours from Dabolim Airport. A reasonably priced air-conditioned taxi van can be organised for pick-ups and drop offs.

Distances
There is so much to do around the villa. I can organise motorbike, taxi and 4x4 jeep hire - for trips to waterfalls, remote beaches, Sunday afternoon parties up the coast, cultural trips, dolphin-watching and so on...I have many contacts in the area to help create your perfect holiday - including trips up Talpona river, motorbike rides through amazing countryside or walks through the jungle to secret rockpools etc. All you have to do is ask - and I will fix it for you !

Further details
I organise safe and reliable babysitting for guests with children - with a phone contact so parents can ring in to see all is fine. I also rent Indian mobile phones - so that guests can ring for taxis, services, doctors etc. at a cheap local rate. The phones are all pre-programmed with local phone-numbers. This is also a good way of saving money on the UK mobile bill ! Receiving and making calls to the UK is much cheaper done via an Indian mobile.

There are two or three good restaurants within walking distance - one of them, JC Bar and Restaurant, delivers food to the villa. Upstairs there is a kitchen with plates, cutlery etc. so guests can eat in without problem. Patnem and Palolem beaches, with their lovely and tasty beachside restaurants, are just a short hop away by rickshaw or bike.

Booking notes
An upfront deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking, which can be done via PayPal or transferred it directly into my UK bank account in pounds. The rest can be paid on arrival.
There is a week minimum booking, which qualifies guests for the free swimming pool deal.
