Tumeric - Ground Floor double bedroom with adjacent Bath, toilet sink and handheld shower. Cinammon - 1st Floor twin bedded room with ensuite shower, toilet and sink and private balcony. Ginger - 1st Floor Double Bedroom with private balcony and adjacent shower room toilet and sink. Each bedroom is equipped with a teak bed, bedside table, lamp and antique desk and chair. Kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob and oven/grill, microwave, fridge/freezer and Philips Water purifier. Cutlery, crockery, glasses cooking utensils are provided for guests. Cardamon - 1st floor double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Tamarind - 1st floor double bedroom with en-suite shower room and private balcony. |

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms and lounge have both air conditioning and fans. The properties have private landscaped gardens at the front and back and Spice Villa has a kitchen garden of herbs and spices which can be used in cooking.
TATA Sky, Broadband and a STD telephone line are provided.
Each property also has a room at the top of each house - we affectionately refer to as the monsoon room however it has fan and a balcoa (Goan type of seat) which is perfect to watch the rain or surreptitiously bird watch at sunset!
Outside
Breakfast tables are provided for use on the large terrace or front terrace.
Balconies can be found at the front of each house - these can be seen in all Goan houses where residents sit and enjoy the cool breeze and watch the world go by.
Coast/Beach
Assagao is about 4km from the infamous Anjuna and Baga beaches and Calangute is about 15 minutes drive. The nearest town is Mapusa about 0.5km which has a vibrant daily market - especially on Fridays where you can buy anything from bulbs to water melons.

Dabolim Airport is about 45km about 45 minutes drive. A bike or car is useful although we can help you arrange a car and driver to take you around if required.

Designed in the Indo-Portuguese style of architecture, it offers rooms to stay for short and long periods throughout the year. Here you can enjoy local Goan meals every day. Alternatively you can also prepare your own meals in the kitchen. A big balcony on the first floor of the bungalows offers a wonderful view of the surrounding woods which are a home to a variety of birds. About the owner
We are a family originally from Goa who live in Europe and travel extensively - making it difficult for us to spend as much time visiting Goa as we would like.
Goa has so many beautiful places to visit and explore and we wanted others to experience this - so we decided to rent our villa to others.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
We have just completed building these properties - we chose the area as my great grandfather came from here and it is a rare place in Goa which is a beautiful quiet authentic village still surrounded by wildlife and green hills but also near to the town of Mapusa and the beaches of Anjuna & Baga.
So you can choose when to enjoy peace and quiet and when to explore the fun of Calangute.
