Located within the 'Colonia De Braganza' complex which is secure and well managed 'Braganza' is located in the heart of the lively Calangute resort, yet maintains a peaceful and tranquil status within the complex itself. This is a one bed-room apartment with air-con in the bedroom. It has a kitchen area leading to the lounge which has a balcony. There is a sofa-bed in the lounge area which can accommodate one more adult or child. Cable TV is installed in the lounge. There is a well maintained combined wc/shower room. There are two balconies, one off the living room, the other off the bedroom.

£15 discount for fortnightly stay.

Changeover day
Flexible, 24 hr arrival times OK. However, if accomodation access is required before 12 noon, this will constitute also booking the day prior to arrival date..as prior guests will otherwise have until 10 AM same day, (so to allow time for pre-cleaning)

Notes on accommodation
A safe environment within a well managed complex...therefore entirely suitable for children. The balcony is safe and secure. Air-con in bedroom, ceiling fans in living room. Heating not necessary.
Accessibility
Probably not suitable for those with walking or climbing difficulties, and possibly not suited to those with heart complaints or breathing issues, as there are three short flights of stairs leading to the accommodation.
Outside
Includes communal use of gardens, patio area, two well maintained swimming pools, attractive bar/restaurant area, shop and reception. Good location for taxi 'pick ups' and 'drop offs'.
Coast/Beach
The attractive and lively Calangute beach is a 10 minute walk away. The road to the beach is lined with attractive shops, a shopping precinct and bars/restaurants. The beach boasts golden sand and warm sea water!...there is a further choice of attractive and colourful beach bars, on the beach itself.

Dabolim airport is situated circa 30 minutes away close to Goa's capital City of Panjim. Motorbike hire is available, but not recommended due to road safety issues. Car hire available but not necessarily recommended due the the affordable and competitively priced availability of taxi's.
Distances
The Beaches of Calangute and Baga...10-15 mins walk. The following are examples of places to visit within 20/50 mins by taxi...The town of Old Goad, the City of Panjim, the water sports area of Don Paulo, the towns of South Goa, the elephant rides and tips to spice plantations.

Situated in the heart of Calangute, banks/encashment facilities freely available, a multitude of bars/restaurants, a variety of shops, including local craft shops/souvenir type shops and chemist's.
Booking notes
Upon booking we require a 25% deposit, minimum £100. the balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival
Payment can be made by one of the following methods
Cheque, Direct payment to UK or Indian Bank account or Western Union transfer.The deposit will be non-refundable, the balance also non-refundable once paid. except that for stays of 6 weeks or more, a pro-rata refund of the period in excess of 6 weeks will be made. We will also offer to transfer 50% of "lost" value onto a future booking

Born in Chester, England, 27/5/1961, living in Leicester, UK. Have worked in a major clearing bank for the last 31 years. Have been married to wife, Rita for the last 20 years. Three children, Carly, Jess and Sam. Rita, is actually the owner of our properties...I merely advertise and manage on her behalf! Rita's Grandfather, (fathers side) and Mother were born in Goa. We first visited Goa in 1989 to pursue Rita's ancestral roots and have never looked back! have visited most years since then! A brilliant, at times mostly peaceful recluse within the hustle and bustle of Calangute yet retaining brilliant proximity to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.
