Welcome to 'Villa Calangute' ,where guest return year after year. (sleeps 4-20), Our holiday home is ideally located on Holiday Street in Calangute. For those of you that are new to Goa, Holiday Street is the beach road leading to Calangute Beach which is only 2 minutes walk away. Calangute offers glistening sands, swaying coconut palms, and ultra fresh seafood. With its natural scenic beauty, abundant greenery, attractive beaches and temples, churches and mosques with a distinctive style of architecture it really is a dream come true. One word encapsulates the Goan lifestyle 'sossegade' which means laid back, so if you want to enjoy, relax and have fun in the sun, 'Villa Calangute' is the place for you. Our team is always on hand to help and advise on all matters, from trips and excursions, where to buy things, medical or anything that needs dealing with!

Notes on prices
Please note that the above prices are based on 1-4 people. We can cater from 4-20 people, so please contact us for a quote. Once 50% of the payment is completed there will be no changes in the rates. 50% of the rental fee is required to confirm the booking. A security of deposit of INR 10,000 cash is taken against breakages and is refundable as long as the villa is returned in the same condition in which is was given.
Changeover day
Check-in 12.00pm. Check-out 10.00am. Changeover days are flexible. We will do our best to accommodate your check in times where possible.

| Living Rooms: | The living room opens out onto a covered terrace leading into the garden and there is also seating in the front porch. Living room has a 3 seater sofa, 2 armchairs and a coffee table. TV with cable, books and magazines are also provided. |

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
House keeping is done daily and linen and towels are changed twice a week. A gardener maintains the garden area. Guests who stay with us for 3 nights or more will receive a welcome pack on arrival just to make the transition that bit easier. |

Notes on accommodation
Please note that all villas are fully booked for new years and we are only available from 5th-7th Dec, 12th-13th Dec, 18th-20th dec and 22nd-24th Dec 2011. Extra Facilities: Intenet Access- INR 1000 per week. Laptop Hire- INR 1000 per week. Swimming pool access in neighbouring resort - INR 75 per person per day. BBQ Hire- INR 1000 per 3 days. Prices for these extra facilities are calculated on a per week basis, stays shorter than one week will incur the same charges.
Accessibility
One bedroom are bathroom are situated on the ground floor and may be ideal for elderly people. The other 3 bedrooms are on the first floor of the villa.
Outside
The whole villa is immaculately kept as are the surrounding gardens. The garden is very pretty and well tended to. The villa has a large terrace where you can sit out and soak up the sun. All the bedroom have a balcony with seating. In addition bedroom one has an additional large gallery. There are also sun-loungers in the garden where you can sun bathe whilst sipping a cold refreshing beer.
Coast/Beach
Our villa is conveniently situated 2 minutes from Calangute beach. Calangute, is one of the most popular beaches in Goa; consequently it has been termed the 'Queen of Beaches'. The beach in Calangute is the perfect tourist haven, with a host of facilities to cater to visitors. With shacks and stalls under the shade of palm trees selling everything from fried prawns and beer, to trinkets made of seashells. A short taxi ride will take you to a number of deserted beaches in north Goa.
Travel
Dabolim (at present the only airport in Goa) is some 45 minutes from our villa by taxi - pick-up can be arranged (a driver standing with your name on a board immediately as you leave the arrivals hall). Just confirm airport pick-up when booking. Alternatively, just pick up one of the readily available taxis at the airport and tell them to head straight to Holiday street in Calangute.
Distances
Calangute is 30mins from Panjim (Goa's capital), 20mins Mapusa (famous Friday Market), 45mins Old Goa (breathtaking architecture) and close by to the clubs in north goa such as titos, mambos, butter and club west end. Buses and taxis are easily available and really cheap. Closest beaches to Calangute are Candolim, Sinquerim and Miramar to the south and Baga, Anjuna, Vagator, Chopora and Morjim to the north.
Further details
Villa Calangute’s guests will have access to a swimming pool. Please note that we have a tie up with a third party resort for swimming pool access. The resort is located opposite our villa and charges INR 75 per person per day.
Within walking distance are two of the main supermarkets of north Goa with a good range of European branded goods available. Banks, ATM's, tour operators, souvenirs shops etc. are all close by. Doctor and Dentist are easily available,very good and much cheaper than back home. Calangute is home to some of Goa's most renowned restaurants. Of the top-end restaurants, we are lucky enough to have 3 of the top 5 right here on our doorstep. However, I prefer eating in one of the beach shacks on Calangute beach, which offers both western and local cuisine. The dishes are great value for money and are truly delicious. Several restaurants and bars host lot of seasonal entertainment such as fashion shows, quiz nights and karaoke.
Booking notes
If you like what you have read about our villa do drop us an e-mail/telephone enquiry and we will confirm availability/prices. Our standard procedure is - we respond with confirmation of your dates being available, the price and our 'how to pay us' info sheet. This will give details of banks accounts into which 50% of the costs will be required to confirm the booking which is non refundable. The remaining holiday balance can be paid on arrival in cash only.

We are a team of UK and Indian owners and have amalgamated our experience and expertise and produced a wonderful holiday home which is finished to western standards. The Villa Calangute team consists of 6 members, 3 of which have lived and worked abroad in the UK and Switzerland. Our team is always on hand to help and advise on all matters – from trips and excursions/ where to buy things/ medical or anything that needs dealing with! We only rent the villa to one party at a time so you have maximum privacy. We have applied our personal touch to the Villa and a lot of the interiors are from the UK. We have displayed custom made photos of Goa on the walls giving you an ideas where to go and what to do in Goa.

Villa Calangute, Goa, is a family owned house which is situated 2 mintutes walk away from Calangute beach. The property was built from scratch in 2003, at this time you could see the sea from the balcony. Although this is no longer the case, the villa still feels like an oasis of tranquility in the midst of the enjoyable hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. The modern architecture is complemented with the beautiful interiors.Most people who visit Goa for the first time always return and we believe that Villa Calangute will have that same memorable effect on all our guests.
