This spacious 3 bed villa is situated about 30km from Dabolim Airport (30 mins by car) and 2km from Margao Station. It is situated within gated complex with shops and restaurants/ beach shacks close by. The ground floor of the villas consists of a spacious open plan living/dining room with a separate kitchen and a downstairs bedroom (2 single beds) with en-suite shower room. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms; one with french double doors opening onto the balcony which overlooks the large shared pool/children's pool. There is also a separate shower room/toilet on this floor. Ideal for families or couples sharing. The professionally landscaped gardens surrounding the villa contain three different patio areas providing privacy and shade. Views of the beautiful Arabian sea can be seen from the back of the villa, the rear bedroom and from the balcony. Take a 5 min stroll down to the beautiful Varca Beach and spend the day relaxing on a sun lounger in one of the beach shacks.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week. For parties of more than 6 people there will be a surcharge of £7 per extra person per night.
Prices include one taxi transfer from Dabolim Airport or Margao Station and maid service (2 cleans and 2 bed changes per week).
Prices may vary at the owner's discretion.
In case of cancellation the deposit is non-refundable.
Changeover day
Guests must vacate the villa by 12.00 noon on the day of departure to allow the villa to be cleaned before the arrival of the next party of guests.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 and 2 with double beds. Bedroom 3 with 2 single beds The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning units and fitted with teak wood wardrobes and dressing tables. A cot, high chair and 2 extra put-u-up beds can be made available upon request. |

Notes on accommodation
The villa is equipped with water heaters and air-conditioning units. The accommodation is suitable for children and a cot and high chair can be made available upon request.
Outside
The villa is situated within a complex which is landscaped with coconut trees and various exotic palms and has a large open grassed area. The shared pool, which also incorporates a children's pool, has several relaxing sun loungers and palm-leaved umbrellas for those who like to soak up the sun. Please note: the pool does not have a lifeguard and children should be supervised by a responsible person. Anyone using the pool does so at their own risk. In order to maintain the pool it may occasionally be out of use whilst essential repairs/maintenance are carried out.
Coast/Beach
Explore along the South Goa coastline with its stunning white sands and blue seas and you can find many empty peaceful coves for that true 'Touch of Paradise'. For the more daring there are various types of water sports along the beaches including paragliding, jet-skiing, and boat trips to see the dolphins close up in their natural habitat. Dolphin-watching is extremely popular and a great way to experience them is on an early-morning cruise along the River Sal.
Golf
There is a nine hole golf course within 2km of the villa.
Special interest holidays
There is plenty of scope for bird watching. Cookery courses can be arranged and Yoga classes are very popular. Fishing trips can also be arranged.
Travel
Dabolim Airport is about 30km from Varca (35 mins by car). Charter flights fly direct to Goa from Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham. Scheduled flights go from London Heathrow via Mumbai. Transfers to and from Dabolim Airport can be arranged at no extra cost. Local taxis (yellow and black) are available at Dabolim Airport - fares should be no more than 700 rupees. Margao Station is 2km away as is the bus station. A car is not essential.
Distances
Varca is a small village in South Goa on the shores of the Arabian Sea. It lies 39 km away from Panaji, capital of the Indian state of Goa and about 1km from the villa. The population of Goa is a mixture of Christian, Hindu and Muslim so festivals are celebrated almost daily giving Goa an almost non stop party atmosphere. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the colourful and exotic night markets where one can buy locally made, hand-crafted artifacts, antiques as well as European goods.
Further details
A 10 minute ride into Margao, which is the second largest city in Goa and a centre for travel and commerce. Local and Western goods are available and you will also find banks and Internet cafes. The town has an excellent market area along with a Bazaar that is a labyrinthine covered area that's a rich source of authentic souvenirs and a good place to browse for some bargain shopping. To get a sense of the history of South Goa take a tour to Old Goa with its fascinating temples and churches or visit the Spice Farm and help to bathe the elephants. The waterfalls at Dudhsagar are also a very popular where you can feed the monkeys and then take a jeep ride through the National Park before cooling off in the natural lake at the bottom of the falls. Local supermarkets, chemists, banks (ATMs), opticians etc. can be found in the village of Varca.

A 50% deposit will secure bookings, the balance to be paid 6 weeks before date of flying. (In the case of cancellation the deposit is non refundable). Payments can be made via bank transfer into our UK account or into our Indian account or via Paypal (you do not need a Paypal account for this). About the owner
We originate from the UK but we spend most of the year in South Goa from Aug/Sept to May/June. We came to Goa on holiday and fell in love with it and the people who are very friendly and only too keen to help. Goa has many facets including peaceful, serene beaches and the warm Arabian Sea, colourful night markets, ancient temples and churches and breathtaking views as well as the fascinating wildlife. It's easy to see why we love it here so much!

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought our villa at Tarika Gold Coast Villas in Varca because it is only 300m from the beautiful and secluded Varca Beach and it also has access to a large shared swimming pool. We know the area and the local people quite well. Varca is a small community and is quite remote but it is easily accessed by road. It makes for a very peaceful, de-stressing holiday.
Unique benefits of the property
The villa is situated within a gated complex with a landscaped garden. It has parking for a car and or scooter and offers guests or family and friends a holiday of a lifetime in idyllic surroundings. It also gives us the opportunity to live and work amongst the local people of Goa, who we have found to be very happy, friendly and extremely helpful. It's our idea of paradise on earth!
