Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | ‘Koh-i-noor’ is on the 1st floor. The large bedroom has air-conditioning (1.5 tonne), large King size bed and beautiful hand painted side tables with traditional lamps. It opens out to a green farm to the back via the balcony which has a lovely sit out. |
| Bathrooms: | The bathroom is large, spacious and well lit. It has a toilet and separate shower area which is covered off with a shower curtain. |
| Kitchen: | The cosy kitchen has a dining table with chairs; toaster, oven, kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer; water purifier for safe drinking water. The cooking system is electric hot plate, hassle free. All glasses, plates, cutlery and accessories are provided. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room has a charming ethnic low level sofa, which easily gets converted into 2 single or one double bed. There is a TV, DVD player and a selection of Hollywood and Bollywood DVDs, books. You will find a useful handbook in the living room. |
| Other: | An inverter in the apartment ensures you never go without electricity. All plug points are universal, so no need to carry adapters. Washing machine installed in case you fancy a bit of washing on your holiday! Ironing board and iron provided. |

Use of towels and linen included in your stay. The property is cleaned twice a week and this is included in your rental package. Our property is managed by a very pleasant and helpful Goan manager, 24x7. |

Notes on accommodation
The property is on the 1st floor, with access via a wide staircase. Ideal and child friendly for young families, though cot and highchair are not provided. The kingsize bed is enough to keep the whole family together though the double bed in the living room is super, even for 2 additional adults.
Outside
'Exclusive', 'beautifully landscaped', 'secure' and 'peaceful'. These are the words that come to mind to describe Zen Gardens. A community of a select few owners, this resort offers you many benefits. With a beautiful raised private sit out next to the pool, the pool itself has a separate children’s area with steps that allow safe access and exit. There is ample and secure car parking should you decide to hire your own car to move about.
Koh-i-noor is well placed near shops and many most popular restaurants and shacks and is near the main town of Margaon, where all serious shoppers can head!
The local beach is Benaulim beach, which is a pleasant 15 minute stroll down beach road, lined with shacks and shops. You will love this part of Goa!
Coast/Beach
South Goa is emerging to be the preferred destination for travellers who want quality time on their holiday. It offers a lot more tranquil and laid back pace of life and most 5 star hotels and resorts are located here and not in the very crowded and touristy north. The more famous true Goan eateries like Martin’s corner are also located in South Goa.
Swim in the pool, enjoy the beach and also go out for a full day excursion - it's all possible from Benaulim, where this apartment is.

There are plenty of exotic options for golf in Goa and please enquire with me if you wish to include Golf in your holiday.

Travel
Access to the main airport - Dabolim, is very good. It takes about 25 mins to reach by car. A short 15 min stroll down beach road is the Benaulim beach, a welcome reprieve from the overcrowded beaches of the North – and yet it offers all that you would expect: local shacks with yummy food, stalls to buy local handicraft, beach activities on offer etc. Colva beach, which is considered to be one of the active beaches of Goa is only a few minutes drive away and is the ‘next’ beach from Zen Gardens.
Distances
The local area has many shops and restaurants. The main city of Margaon is only a short while away and one can do lots of local browsing around in that city. If you want to venture out to the Spice Gardens or to see local Goan architecture, this is a great place to locate yourselves in.
Further details
There is a wide range of very nice food available from both the beach shacks close by and the speciality restaurants in the vicinity.
If you are new to Goa, the apartment comes with a local contact, an expert in the area who can guide you to activities of interest. You will be given his mobile number for any queries.
We are also able to provide you with a local mobile phone that you can buy credit for and use to make both local and international calls. International calls are much cheaper made from Indian mobiles.
You will find a custom made folder in the apartment, which is most useful. It lays down the ‘house rules’ and plenty of useful local information!
Booking notes
We welcome genuine enquiries for our holiday home. The prices are for 2 adults sharing. Children below the age of 5 years of age stay free. Above 5, there is a small additional charge of £20 per child, irrespective of how long you stay. Each additional adult: £40 per stay. Minimum stay of 3 nights for the apartment (3 nights will be charged at 60% of the weekly rate, 4 nights at 70%, 5 nights at 80% and 6 nights at 90%).
