The property is fully furnished, is very spacious and offers lots of natural light. Sky TV is available at the property. The nearest town is Mapusa which is approximately 15 mins drive. The beaches of Baga, Calangute, Candolim and Anjuna are approximately 20/25 minutes drive away. There is a good sized pool with loungers, table and parasols available with the property. There is a small shop across the road which provides daily necessities. There is also a restaurant opposite, owned by the very friendly, Antonio, which serves delicious meals daily and is open from 11.00.There is a lot to see and do in Goa and trips/excursions can be arranged locally. A folder is left in the property with details. The locals will be able to help you with anything that you may require such as taxi hire, moped hire, knowledge of the better beaches, which excursions should not be missed etc. Everything in Goa is very competitively priced and there are many deals to be done!

Notes on accommodation
If taxis/mopeds/cars are required for hire please advise when booking as owner has local operators who can provide these services. Birdwatching can also be arranged along with many other excursions. All lets include return transfer to/from the airport and a welcome pack. This is gated complex with on site security and gardener. The property is fully air-conditioned and is suitable for children.

Accessibility
This property would pose no problems for wheelchair users, but please be aware there are three steps that lead onto the terrace.
Outside
Beautiful, well tended gardens, good size pool, which is for sole use of the guests, 4 loungers, 1 outdoor table and parasol, all belonging to the owners property.
Coast/Beach
20/25 minutes by car/moped to beaches, this would include the beaches of Baga, Calangute and the quieter beach of Candolim. Vagator beach is approx. 40 minutes drive away and is quite peaceful and quiet by comparison. Mandrem beach, which offers accommodation in the form of beach huts, should you wish to really get way from it all for a night or two, is approx. 30 minutes away. Here you can partake of a leisurely drink whilst listening to the relaxing sounds of the waves.

Travel
The airport at Daobolim is approx. 50 minutes away by car. Car or moped hire is the cheapest way to get around, if you don't feel this is for you, local taxis are very very cheap (approx. Rs 300 one way, to Baga Beach which is about £2.50 and around Rs 600 one way to Vagator Beach). A trip to the spice gardens is Rs1200, an elephant ride whilst there is highly recommended and will cost just Rs500. Prices quoted current as of may 2008.

Baga Beach approx 10 miles, spice plantation and elephant ride approx 25 miles, Dudghasar Falls approx 25 miles away, Coco Beach approx 10 miles away, Mapusa market approx 5 miles away, Anjuna market approx 12 miles away, go kart racing approx 12 miles away, night market approx 12 miles away, temples and Old Goa approx 25 miles away. Palolem in South Goa is well worth a visit, an overnight stay is advisable as the journey time, one way, is approx. 2 hours.
Further details
Many local shops, bank, chemist, doctors, eateries etc are based in Mapusa, which is approx 5 miles away. This also has a fab market where an abundance of fresh produce is easily available. There is an array of restaurants and beach shacks which offer the most mouth watering of freshly prepared cuisine, catering for all tastes. All just a short taxi ride away. The beach shacks are not be missed, as these offer incredibly good value for money. Check out the beach sellers, as there is always a deal to be done! Brittos on Baga beach is a particular favourite and shouldn't be missed. The Alcove at Vagator also comes very highly recommended.
Booking notes
A 50% non refundable deposit will be required to secure a booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. A refundable damage and loss deposit is also required of £250. If the booking is cancelled less than 6 weeks before the due date, the whole amount will be forfeit.
