Your listing on HomeAway.co.uk is managed via your Owners Direct Admin Manager. Changes made to your Owners Direct listing, including calendar updates, availability and facilities will be updated on your HomeAway.co.uk listing within 3 hours. Photos will be updated within 24 hours.

Your listing on HomeAway.co.uk will include the following:

• 20 Photos
• A google map
• A calendar which is maintained via your Owners Direct Admin Manager
• A rates table maintained via your Owners Direct Admin Manager
• Key elements of your listing will be translated and will appear as a free basic listing on 14 International sites
• You will receive SMS alerts for all your enquiries. Your Admin Manager will also list from where the enquiry originated.
• The position of listings on HomeAway.co.uk is updated daily and is based on how recently your updated your calendar. The position of your listing on Owners Direct is based on daily page rotation ie. your listing moves up one page each day.

Your Listing will not include:

• Reviews - unfortunately Owners Direct does not currently support reviews so your HomeAway.co.uk listing will not be eligible to receive them.
• Owner Profile - unfortunately HomeAway.co.uk does not have this feature.
• Special Offers/ Featured Listings / Golf Listings - if you purchase one of these additional items on Owners Direct, unfortunately these will not feature in the equivalent categories on HomeAway.co.uk. If you buy this upgrade you will only be able to activate these features on Owners Direct and not on Homeaway.co.uk

 

UK Upgrade FAQs

What will my property reference number be on HomeAway.co.uk?
When you purchase a UK Upgrade on OwnersDirect.co.uk, you are automatically issued with an advert reference number that you can use to search for your property on HomeAway.co.uk. This can be found in your Admin Manager.

What are the main benefits of the UK Upgrade?

• It is easy to manage multiple listings from one site.
• You should receive double the number of inquiries for your property.

Are there any features that won’t work on the other site?

• No featured listings, special directory or special offers will be available on HomeAway.co.uk
• Owner Profiles will not be displayed on the other site.
• Guestbook comments won’t appear on your HomeAway.co.uk advert

If I already have an existing advert on HomeAway.co.uk, will this upgrade just renew my existing advert?
No. Your UK upgrade will be a brand new advert and your existing HomeAway.co.uk advert will expire at the end of your subscription unless you choose to renew this advert directly with HomeAway.co.uk. Your new HomeAway.co.uk advert will be managed via OwnersDirect.co.uk and will not show any information from your previous advert, including length of time as an advertiser.

Will the enquiry confirmation email specify where the enquiry is coming from?
No. You can view the origin of an enquiry by logging into your Advertisement Manager and clicking on the link “View enquiries”.

Will the SMS enquiries notifications work?
Yes.

In which sort order will my property appear?
On OwnersDirect.co.uk the list is rotated fairly on a daily basis. Within HomeAway.co.uk your property will move up the results when you update your calendar. 

If I buy a featured listing/special offer on one site, is that featured listing active on the other site?
No.

If I tick a specific amenity on OwnersDirect.co.uk, is that amenity searchable on HomeAway.co.uk?
Yes. Most common amenities are shown on both sites.

Will the calendar on HomeAway.co.uk be updated automatically?
Yes, within 3 hours of any changes made.

Will the property description appear the same on both sites?
No, this will be slightly different.

If I update my OwnersDirect.co.uk advert, how long will it take for my HomeAway.co.uk advert to be updated?
The changes you make to your Owners Direct advert will appear on your HomeAway.co.uk advert within approximately 3 hours.
