Hayling Island self-catering holiday accommodation is found in a lovely seaside location close to the beach, local shops restaurants and bars. As Hayling Island is only about four miles long and four miles wide a Hayling Island holiday home is within easy reach of everything on the island. That’s Hayling Golf Club, an 18 hole link course ranked in the top 100 UK courses, Hayling Yacht Club, Sparkes Marina, Beachlands fun fair, and the East Hayling Light Railway among a whole lot more. Sandy Point beaches are the place to go for water sports which include sailing, kayaking and, as Hayling Island is where it was invented, windsurfing.

A little further a field, about 30 minutes away from Hayling Island apartments across the single lane road bridge is Chichester, home of the Chichester Festival Theatre on the Round, and some very good restaurants and shops. It is possible to drive in about 20 minutes or take the ferry from a self-catering holiday home on Hayling Island to Portsmouth where you will find the historic dockyard which has the Mary Rose and HMS Victory among other attractions. The Spinnaker Tower is also a landmark here. If you are visiting Hayling Island self-catering accommodation between April and September then a day at the races would be great with Goodwood just 40 minutes away.
