Halki self catering holiday accommodation is found on the smallest inhabited island in the Dodecanese archipelago in the Aegean Sea. Minutes from everything you are likely to need during a stay in a holiday home on Halki like mini-markets, restaurants, tavernas , cafes and bars, you are also within walking distance of beautiful sandy stretches of beach. The harbour, active with yachts and boats is also just a short walk away from a Halki rental apartment so you can either enjoy the water or watch the fishing boats come and go, enjoying fresh fish in the waterside tavernas. The history of the Halki is clear to see with the ruined medieval castle of the Knights of St John overlooking the old town, original frescoes still visible in its chapel, and hints of the islands Roman beginnings visible everywhere.

If you fancy a day out to a slightly larger location while staying in a Halki holiday villa the why not take a boat trip to Rhodes. The northern coast is renowned for its lively tourist resorts, a far cry from the serene peace of Halki. There is also a really good golf course available on Rhodes at Afandou, as well as surfing at Gennadi and snorkelling at Kalithea if you are after an active day out while staying in a self catering apartment on Halki. For history lovers there are numerous archaeological sites and fascinating architecture. For a much quieter day out take a boat to some of the uninhabited islands close to your Halki rental accommodation, discover the wildlife, fish or just laze in the sun away from it all.

Halki self-catering villas enjoy a very dry, sunny climate with warm evenings during the summer with rain only between November and the end of April.
