As you pass through Villa Grace's gates the tree lined driveway takes you up to the steps of the house. There is parking for many cars and the drive takes you around the rose bed ready to exit the property. There is a private forest at the back of the property which has little pathways you can explore. The patio has table and chairs and the sundeck around the pool has sunbeds.

Coast/Beach
Kefalonia has many wonderful beaches and no two alike! Here are a few that we have used; we can recommend you drive to. Spartia 5 mins small, sandy, rocks, gentle sloping sea bed, safe for kids. Trapezaki 10 mins gentle sloping sea bed, safe for kids and beach bar. St. Thomas beach near Karavados 5 mins 2 sandy coves, rocks, gentle sloping sea bed and 2 tavernas. Lourdas 15 mins long sand/shingle beach. Makris Gialos, Lassi 15 mins sandy beach, bar and water sports.
Travel
The villa is 15 mins from the airport. To really appreciate this wonderful island, car hire is recommended.
Distances
Walking distances: Greek style taverna and shop in village 5 min walk.
A half hour walk to restaurants near Spartia and Pesada.
Driving distances: Pesada (catch the ferry to Zante) 5 min drive. Kefalonia Airport 7km. Argostoli Port and town 10km. Sami Port and Town 12km. Poros Town 12km.
Booking notes
10% discount for multi-week bookings! A 20% (non refundable) deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance, along with a £200 security deposit, is to be paid 8 weeks before your holiday. Prices are based on 2 to 4 people in 1 double bed and 2 twin beds. Fold up beds can be supplied for two extra people and put in the lounge. Flights not included.

A wonderful Villa which provided all we needed for a most enjoyable holiday. The pool is wonderful as is the garden and the whole ambiance of the location is tranquil and friendly. Marilyn and Malcolm are most helpful and keep the grounds well tended and ensure that we have all we need.

Villa Grace is well named. Set in a beautiful set out garden it provides a retreat from busy life. Malcolm and Marilyn looked after us so well, attentive but unobtrusive. The pool is excellent as are the facilities. Not having a car we were able to walk to local tavenas and enjoy some great Greek food. It was perfect for our needs and if circumstances allow us I would love to return.

We have had a fantastic two weeks in Kefalonia .Villa Grace was a perfect setting to relax and unwind and our 2 children love the pool.

About the owner
We are a retired British couple called Malcolm and Marilyn and we arrived on Kefalonia 8 years ago for Malcolm, who is a civil engineer, to under take a building project. We have travelled and sailed extensively through the Caribbean, Bahamas and Mediterranean but felt Kefalonia was a lovely place to settle and build a Villa. We bought 2 acres of land with a wonderful view of Mount Aenos and set in a rural area near the enchanting village of Kerimies for our retirement home. We have since built another small villa for the summer months and now use Villa Grace as our winter home.
