A detached house set within an olive grove with balconies to both bedrooms. The large sun terrace and private garden provides the ideal setting for outdoor living and relaxation. Fully air-conditioned. Perfect choice for families, couples or just friends! We are in a brilliant location for ramblers, artists and anyone looking to 'get away from it all', but can be in the centre of a fantastic friendly village within a few minutes where you will find tavernas, restaurants and supermarkets. A 10 minute drive will take you to Lindos Village.

Notes on accommodation
We have provided a child's high-chair, travel cot with bedding as well as a portable safety gate.
Outside
Our garden is walled and gated to allow children safe playing. There is a large gravel garden and pergola covered patio area with dining and lounge furniture. We have sunbeds and parasol and there is a large "family" inflatable fun pool available for your use - hours of fun and helps cool you down! Nature has provided us with a fabulous chill out area under the olive tree! We have a driveway for off-road parking.
Coast/Beach
The house is in a peaceful position just over a kilometre from the centre of the village set back from the road which connects the coastal highway to Haraki.
A 2 minutes drive or 10 minute easy flat walk. There are two beautiful beaches, one providing sun-beds - pebbles at one end and sand at the other. Agathi Beach is a 4 mins drive and has a fantastic safe sandy beach and shallow waters with three tavernas.
Travel
Nearest airport is Rhodes Diagoras and is a 40 minute drive. Car hire is recommended but not essential as there is a bus service which runs into Rhodes Town/Falariki and Lindos/Pefkos. We highly recommend M&S car hire for your stay and will give you all details and prices on request.
Distances
We are a 10 minute drive from Lindos and a 3 minute drive to Agathi Beach. Haraki Bay is within walking distance.
Further details
Our house is located a very short distance from Haraki village, a flat walk, no hills to climb! Please note there are no cash machines in Haraki. Lindos or Archangelos are the nearest.

A non refundable 20% deposit is required on booking and balance due four weeks before arrival. Please contact us if short notice holiday is required or any special requests you may have.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
After holidaying in Lindos for over 17 years we decided to look for our "own place" in wonderful Rhodes. We bought Olive Grove House in 2010 potentially so that we could "retire" in a few years. Therefore we have decorated it, not as a "holiday let" but as somewhere we would feel "at home" in. And still adding to! Last year (2010) was our first year of letting and we asked for comments from those who stayed so that we could get things right for renting. Because there is another house being built within the olive grove we have kept our rental prices to a minimum to compensate for any building work being carried out.
Unique benefits of the property
The people are the major benefit - fabulously friendly and helpful.
We are located in the most peaceful of areas but within easy walking distance of Haraki Bay.
Watch for the mouflons meandering around the house - brilliant!
Watch for the shooting stars at night - amazing!
Most of all - enjoy your time there - we do!!
