Villa Artemis is a newly built three bedroom country property, situated in some 2 acres of unspoilt natural environment. The lower level of the villa has a table tennis area and an 8m long private pool. A short flight of steps leads up to the main entrance, which in turn opens out into a lovely well furnished lounge/dining room and open plan kitchen. The lounge has a feature fireplace, satellite TV and DVD with patio doors opening out onto the front terrace and pool area. On this level there is also a shower room with hydro massage shower. Next to this is the first air-conditioned bedroom and a shower with WC en-suite. A marble staircase leads up to the first floor and two further bedrooms. Both bedrooms have got terraces overlooking the pool, gardens and the bay of Rethymnon in the distance. On this floor there is also a large bathroom. Next to the pool and the barbecue there is ample space to dine al-fresco. Local shops are 1km away from the village of Prines. A car is essential.

Notes on prices
Rates are based on 2 to 4 persons sharing.
We are also the owners of Villa Aphrodite (GR 863) which you can see in the same website with different prices.
Discounts can be given for longer rental periods.
The villa is licenced by the Greek National Tourism Organisation.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. The villa must be vacated by 11am on departure day but can be flexible if available. Arrivals at 4pm.

| Living Rooms: | The well-furnished lounge with two pretty matching sofas has a feature fireplace, satellite TV and DVD/CD player with patio doors opening out onto the front terrace and pool area. The dining area has a dining table and seating for six. |

Towels and linen are included and are changed twice a week (once on arrival and once during the week). Pool towels are also available. |

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning units all over the villa are available upon request.
We offer to all our guests a welcome hamper with home made products (fresh fruit, fresh eggs, olives, olive oil).
Outside
Outside the private 8m long pool takes pride of place amongst spacious well furnished sun terraces and there is a separate children's section, which has a depth of 0.5m.
There is ample outside dining for those meals alfresco and the brick built BBQ compliments this area. The grounds are vast with flower gardens and gradually we are renovating the old grain threshing circle and olive press, all adding character and charm to this property.
On the basement of the villa there is also a small traditional family museum where you can see old cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and old farming tools.
Coast/Beach
The villa is about a 10 minutes drive to the nearest sandy beach. Easy driving access to clear sandy beaches on both North and South coast.

Travel
Car hire is recommended. Bus service is also available from the village of Prines to the town of Rethymnon and back. Driving time to villa from Heraklion airport: approx 1½ hour. Driving time to villa from Chania airport approx 1¼ hour drive. Driving time to villa from Rethymnon port: approximately 15 min.
Distances
Distance to Rethymnon 6km. Distance to local tavernas, cafes and mini markets 1km. Nearest pharmacy 1.5km.
Booking notes
A reservation will be valid after a deposit of 30% of the total cost. The amount due will be payable upon arrival. Reservation will be confirmed by fax or e-mail.
