A most attractive 3 bedroom villa, situated in some 2 acres of unspoilt countryside, just 6km inland from Rethymno. The villa is surrounded by old olive groves, oak trees and is reached via a winding country lane and then a long private drive. The living area of the villa is on one level and the interiors are simple, fresh and modern in style. The interior of the villa is open plan with pretty matching sofas, satellite TV, DVD, dining table and from here there is a well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, each equipped with shower/WC. The entrance has pretty flower beds, twin patios and comfortable garden furniture. There is ample outside dining for those meals al-fresco and the brick build barbecue compliments this area. Stone steps lead down into the gardens, to a 40sqm swimming pool with children's pool and the raised pool terraces are equipped with sunbeds and sun umbrellas. There are a few local shops and tavernas in Prines. A car is essential.

Notes on prices
Rates are based on 2 to 4 persons sharing. Additional persons are charged extra per person per day.
We are also the owners of Villa Artemis which you can see in the same website with different prices.
Discounts can be given for longer rental periods.
The villa is licenced by the Greek National Tourism Organisation.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. The villa must be vacated by 11am on departure day but can be flexible if available. Arrivals at 16pm.

Outside
The entrance has pretty flower beds, twin patios and comfortable garden furniture. To the rear of the property, covered sun terraces have stone steps leading down into the gardens, to a 40sqm private swimming pool with children's pool and the raised pool terraces are equipped with sunbeds and sun umbrellas. A beautiful stone curved seating area, is set to one side of the house under the shade of a vast oak tree and next to a brick built barbecue; a perfect spot to dine Al Fresco. There is also a variety of garden toys (small playground) which is available for our young guests!
Coast/Beach
The villa is about a 10 minutes drive to the nearest sandy beach. Easy driving access to beaches on both North and South coast.

A really authentic Greek villa, the moussaka, raki and apple cake supplied by the owners were amazing, if you want a chilled out holiday within reach of the amazing sights of this beautiful island then book the villa. You will need a car, there is no where within walking distance (apart from olives and goats) but this means its incredibly peaceful. There are a couple of restaurants within 5 mins drive but with a purpose built bbq and an out door pizza oven (and very good local supermarkets, butchers and bakers) you can while away the evening on the terrace over looking the fantastic pool.
