Villa Maestrali is located on a hill of the exclusive Kalamaki Peninsula, on a large, private property planted with oleander, flowers, pine and olive trees, away from the bustle, yet only minutes away from all amenities. Its most striking feature are the two terraces, facing the sun-rise and sun-down respectively. Both have tasteful garden furniture, which, when put together, provide seating for 10 people, if you should have a party. The fitted open-plan kitchen with marble work-tops is well-equipped and has a dining area for 6. The attractively decorated, large living room has 3 french doors opening on to the even larger terrace with ample space for relaxing, enjoying meals and the amazing view over the bay. The electric awning is perfect for children to sit under and splash in the kiddy pool provided. The private swimming pool, with walk-in-steps, lights up automatically at night.

Notes on prices
Prices per property per week in Euros. Fees include all taxes, utilities, WLAN-internet access, daily pool cleaning/ servicing. Also free of charge, the weekly/final cleaning, weekly change of towels/linens. Beach towels provided as well as a complimentary welcome-package. Non-refundable 25% deposit of total rental due 10 days after email booking. Remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to booked arrival. Canceling must occur 6 weeks prior to booked arrival, or remaining balance is due in full.
Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Fridays, can however be negotiated.

Linens, towels and beach towels are included. Weekly cleaning and change of linens, and mid-weekly change of towels is free of charge. Extra cleaning can be arranged for a fee. |

Notes on accommodation
Heating in the lounge/dining area, reversible air-conditioning in bedrooms. We kindly request our guests to refrain from taking bath-towels to the beach. We equally kindly request that the beach towels provided be washed in the machine provided at the villa. The swimming pool has a safe-guard for children, however parents must supervise them for their safety at all times.
Accessibility
This villa is only accessible by stairs and is therefore not suited for wheelchair users and persons with severe mobility problems.
Outside
Two private terraces, one small to east, one very large to south-west. Matching outdoor furniture consisting of 2 tables, 10 chairs, when put together, make suitable seating for 10 people, 2 low reading chairs, 4 sun-beds. The private pool with lighting, measures 10 x 6m.
Coast/Beach
The nearest sandy beach, "Vromolimnos" is a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk away. The island offers over 60 crystal clear blue water coves and beaches, all reachable within less than 25 minutes by car at the most.
Travel
We recommend a rental car, although Skiathos has very effecient bus and taxi services. However, it is a 10 minute walk to our bus stop no. 13, at the bottom of the Kalamaki private road.
Distances
Skiathos town as well as the airport are only 20 minutes away. Radio taxis and buses are also available.
Further details
Skiathos town offers many shops, cafés, a lively night life as well as several tavernas, the most excellent ones of which are listed in our "Villa Book", along with other useful information for a lovely vacation. The Island has sports activities for all tastes, tennis, horseback-riding and all water sports. For hikers, there are the famous Kastro ruins, with the endless steps leading to the chapel, as well as well kept monasteries that sell home made oil and spirits. For boat lovers, there is charter sailing and boats to tour the island and visit neighboring Alonissos Island with its marine park which protects monk-seals and two kinds of dolphins.
For your first evening, we offer to reserve a table at our favorite taverna "Agge-Lia", just 2 minutes by car, with a complementary bottle of wine from Villa Maestrali. The service and food are both excellent, in a beautiful setiing with old olive trees and colorful flowers.
We also offer free transfer (pick-up and bring home) to the lovely Mandraki Village Hotel Restaurant "Elias" in Koukounaries, so you do not have to worry about driving. Here you can also enjoy excellent cuisine, attentive and friendly service, in a tasteful and colorful setting.
Booking notes
Booking is confirmed and binding after a 25% of total rental fee deposit is transferred per bank-wire to owner account within 10 days of booking. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining 75% of rental fee is due upon arrival. Cancellation must occur 6 weeks prior to booked arrival date.
If cancellation occurs at less then 6 weeks prior to booked arrival date, balance of full rental fee is due.

Den Aufenthalt in ihrem Hause habe wir sehr genossen. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Wer hat schon von zwei Himmelsrichtungen aus freien Blick zum Meer? Wir haben auch mehrmals gekocht. An der Ausstattung zum Kochen hat uns nichts gefehlt. Glücklich ist, wer an einem so schönen Platz Urlaub machen kann!
Die Insel selbst hat uns auch noch restlos begeistert. Nochmals vielen Dank für die Bereitstellung ihrer Villa.
