The lounge is on the first floor and being on a corner plot it has a large wrap around balcony with fabulous sea views. Furnishings are new and contemporary with leather sofa, flat panel TV and light wood finishes. The kitchen diner is fully equipped and has its own balcony with stunning pool and mountain views. Around the pool there are sunbathing areas or you can relax on your own private roof terrace or rear garden. The master bedroom has a double bed, en-suite shower room and patio doors to the garden. The second bedroom has twin beds and overlooks the pool. The main bathroom has bath and shower.

Notes on accommodation
Fully air-conditioned and with fly screens to doors and windows. The pool area is not lifeguard controlled so children must be supervised in the pool area.

Lounge is accessed by spiral staircase, may not be suitable for the infirm.

Coast/Beach
Makrigialos (long beach) has 5 beaches. The closest less than 100 metres from the villa is a sandy blue flag beach with sunbeds and water sports in summer. Just 10 minutes walk away there is another virtually deserted beach with a handful of sunbeds and hammocks. Towards the harbour (10 minutes walk) is the long beach, a narrow, gently shelving beach ideal for families.
Travel
Heraklion Airport 1.45 hours drive (Most International flights). Sitia Airport and Ferry Port 35 minutes drive (Flights from Athens and a few international). Car recommended to get from the Airport but not needed in the village.

Further details
Don't worry if you are arriving late we will provide a small grocery pack to get you started. The nearest shop is just a minutes walk and serves freshly baked bread each morning yum yum. There are restaurants within a two minute walk and at intervals all the way to the harbour. This is a nice 10 minute walk passing bars and restaurants that open right onto the beach. You can sip a cocktail with the waves virtually lapping at your feet. There is very cheap internet access at the Sun wing Hotel opposite the villa or at an internet office (2 min. walk) during the day.
