This lovely holiday home is situated in Kalathos, literally next to the beach and only a 5 min drive away from Lindos. It is set in a 6000 sqm plot of land, half of which has been cultivated with lawn and Mediterranean flowers, bushes and trees. The gardens are surrounded by stone walls so there is a feeling of privacy. The beach is one of the cleanest beaches in Rhodes and is never overcrowded. Our house is equipped with all modern conveniences and as it is spacious we think that it offers a perfect holiday for families or group of friends. There is no noise whatsoever and one can relax in a true Mediterranean atmosphere.

Changeover day
We are flexible with changeover days and arrival time as much as other guest arrival or departure allows.

Notes on accommodation
The house is fully air-conditioned, except for the children's bedroom. The rooms are on one level and the property is ideal for children who will love to play in the spacious garden.

Accessibility
The garden has plenty of parking and there are a few steps that lead to the entrance door.
Outside
Outside there is a covered patio with built-in all round benches, table and chairs so meals can also be enjoyed here in the shade. We also provide wooden sun loungers for those who are working on their tan. The lawn area is very big so children can enjoy ball games. We have a small barbecue area at the back of the house and indigenous plants such as oleander, Jasmin, olive trees create a true Mediterranean feeling.
Coast/Beach
The half sand/half pebble beach is a few min walk away and provides sun shade rentals. A local cantina offers refreshments and food on the beach. Due to the central location of Kalathos plenty of other beaches are in a very short driving distance. Try a different beach every day or relax on Kalathos beach.
Golf
The 18 hole golf course of Afandou is only a 20 min drive away.
Travel
The airport is 45 min by car and Rhodes medieval city 50 min. Unless you want to spend a relaxing beach holiday with all facilities provided in Kalathos, it is advisable to rent a car. Rhodes has so much to offer with its numerous historic sites and countless beaches.
Distances
Lindos is a 5 min drive from Kalathos and with its white washed houses, pebbled streets and archaeological sites a popular holiday destination. A must is the Medieval town of Rhodes with its maze of little streets and historic buildings from centuries of various occupants. A majestic castle, Turkish minarettes, museums and the overall amazing architecture makes it an unforgettable experience.
Further details
There is a restaurant, cafeteria and mini market in close walking distance. The next door 5 star Atrium hotel offers spa facilities not only to their guests. Everybody is welcome to enjoy relaxing water treatment or massage. Klathos villages has quite a few tavernas, bars, a bank, pharmacy etc and just outside the village is a -for Rhodian standards -very big supermarket. There is a bus stop on the main road- a 7 min walk from our house.
