These four lovely apartments are located 400m from village Lakythra where you can find a mini market, a pastry shop, a bakery shop, a souvlaki tavern, two pizza restaurants etc. A wonderful view to Argostoli, the stone bridge and St. George's castle will satisfy your first feelings and your mind. Great stone walls surround the plot . In Mouikis Village (400m) you can enjoy his swimming pool, tennis court and bar for public use. A bowling alley with a bar is about 4km far, Argostoli is only 5km, Avithos beach 5.5km, airport 10km. Car hire is recommended to discover the island and to make your holiday more interesting.

Changeover day
This can be flexible due to personal flight details. Saturday and Sunday are the easiest days to fly onto the island as they have the most flights from the UK. Guests are kindly requested to depart till 10:30 and arrive after 14:30 pm.

Coast/Beach
Avithos beach is about 5.5km far, Ai Heli beach 6km, Ammes beach 6.5km, St. Thomas 7.5km, Myrtos beach 45km, Makris & Platis Gialos 7km.
Travel
Airport in Minies is only 15 minutes drive. Argostoli is 5 minute drive, Lakythra is a minute drive, and the nearest beach Avithos is less than 6 minutes drive. Sami is 35 minutes drive where you can take a daily ferry to Patra and drive 2 and a half hours to Athens. Fiscardo (north) & Skala (south) are about an hour's drive.Car hire is highly recommended & we can arrange it for you.
Distances
Argostoli is 5.5km far which is the capital of the island. You can find there banks, supermarkets, restaurants etc. Lakythra village is about 400m far where you can find restaurants, mini market, a pastry shop, a bakery shop, a gift shop etc.
Further details
Kefalonia is an island of contrasts with mount Enos in the center with its forests, eagles and wild horses. The lush greenery is supported by underground water systems which have caves and lakes to explore. Wine factories allow visits, the most famous being Robola. Wonderful honey, olives and grapes, citrus fruits, figs and pornegranates are grown. In Lakythra you can find friendly people, one of the best pastry shops, lovely pizza in 'Byrons' restaurant with a spectacular view to Zante, delicious souvlaki in 'Asterix' restaurant. St George's Castle is about 4km away where you can have a drink with live music and a great view. Argostoli is wonderful with plenty of excitement especially for 'family' kind of people or middle age or more. The port has visiting yachts and a main square with tavernas and coffee bars. Night life is low key. Kefalonia has 3000 permanent English people in winter time. As they say: 'This is paradise!!!" Friendly advice and information are available. We ask 40% deposit on booking in English pounds or Euro. Balance payable 4 weeks before arrival in English pounds or on arrival in Euro preferred.
