Standing in the village of Potamianata in a commanding position with outstanding views of the mountains and across the valley towards Agia Efimia and the sea. The small roads and paths around afford the visitor the opportunity to explore some of the best countryside Kefalonia has to offer. Hill walking will take you to magical unexplored places for most tourist , yet the beaches of Agia Efimia and magnificent Myrtos are just a few minutes away by car. Small houses with beautiful flower filled terraces encircled by gardens full of bougainvilleas and red pomegranates. This is real Greece where the "platia" (square) is still the focus of this small community with its traditional kafenio and a taverna.

Notes on accommodation
All the surroundings are perfectly suitable to accommodate children, always under the supervision of an adult. Green grass carefully maintain, where they can play and enjoy fresh air and nature in its maximum.
Central heating available under request.
Dogis Resort is a family business meaning that our guest find a personal touch any time of the day.
The maintenance of the facilities are taken care by the owner.
Towels and Linen are provided (excluding beach towels).
Linen change twice a week, towels change every second day.
Accessibility
The Houses offered are two levels so that are not ideal for disabled people. Children should be supervised at all times, especially in the open garden, balconies.
Outside
For the benefit of our guest we have the most impeccable rock house barbecue that has been created in traditional stone providing splendid facilities. A wonderful open hearth, gas and wood fuel barbecue with rotating spit. Rustic wood furniture in harmony with the surroundings.
Exclusive to guest of the houses is the roofed Jacuzzi area with four individual screened Jacuzzis combined in a large circular area that can be use at any time of the day, to relax in the afternoons or at night in a romantic candle atmosphere.
Due to environmental issues no soaps are to be use in the jacuzzis,instead use of aromatic salts are recommended.
Coast/Beach
A 5 minutes drive west of Dogis Resort is MYRTOS Beach, to the east is the village of Agia Efimia with its numerous small beaches and coves as well as all through the road to Sami.
Travel
Kefalonia Airport is approximately 26 kms from Dogis Resort, while the port of Sami offers car ferries links to the mainland and Italy ,is about 10 kms.
To fully enjoy what Kefalonia has to offer it is essential to hire a car - we can arrange for your use a hired car to be collected/ dropped off at the airport.

Recommended places to visit is Sami and the Drogarati Caves (at about 12 kms from Dogis Resort), Karavomilos and Melisani Lake about 9 kms), Argostoli and all its attractions ( about 26 kms), Assos and its castle (about 6kms) , Fiscardo (30 kms) ,Skala(40kms), Poros(30 kms), Agios Gerasimos church (30 kms), Mount Ainos and its wildlife (20kms).

Potamianata is located in the Municipality of Pylaros.
Our guest are able to enjoy greek rural life at first contact, surrounded by beautiful mountain views, and its typical flora and fauna. About 200 mts is the" platia " center of the village with its kafenio, a taverna and a small supermarket. Also, a bakery and a supermarket within walking distance.
In Agia Efimia the center of the municipality, are most of the restaurants, bars & coffee bars, the post office, a pharmacy, an atm machine ,shops & souvernir shops. Also a place you can hired cars or mopeds.A scuba diving school that provides all kind of services and tours.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The rest of the amount should be paid in cash (euros) at the time of the arrival. Payments by credit card are not possible.
Provisional bookings will be held for a week.
A deposit is refunded only if a cancellation is made 8 weeks prior to arrival.
