There's only 1 apartment, you're on your own, no neighbours, a free entrance, parking, large terrace, private pool breathtaking views on the White mountains (Lefka Ori), the valley and the village Kaina, the 'highway' is 5 min. drive. There is a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. It is a very quiet place, you have breakfast with singing birds at night there is no noise. The beaches are about 15 minutes driving (car or bike are recommended).

Changeover day
We prefer the weekend for arrival and departing, but everything is negotiable !

Notes on accommodation
In wintertime the apartment has central heating. Cost about € 30.00 pw. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning with separate Kwh-meter € 0.20 per Kwh
Outside
In front of the apartment is a large terrace 45 sq.m, around the swimming pool (7.5 x 3.5 m) is also a large sun terrace 90 sq.m. Surrounded by a beautiful garden with lots of flowers all year around. Arbour and BBQ. sunbeds and umbrellas.
Coast/Beach
Three beautiful sandy beaches on 15 min driving, Kalyves, Almyrida and Georgiopolis. Between Georgiopolis and Rethymno is a very large (6/7 km) sandy beach with nice "tavernas" where you can enjoy a cool drink and a snack.
Travel
Nearest airport is Chania distance 45 min drive. Other airport is Heraklio distance 1.5 hrs driving. Renting a car is recommended.
Distances
Chania is about 30 min. driving, beautiful harbour and shopping on any level. Rethymno same description, Kaina is surrounded by lots of small villages, specially in the mountain area. Chania airport is 45 min driving, Heraklion 90 min.
Further details
In Vamos the nearest town you find 4 good restaurants and a very cosy square (Plateia) with several Kafeneons. Bakery, an English butcher, small supermarket. All villages have nice tavernas,

August 3 2010. We had a fantastic holiday here in Kaina. The lovel apartment, beautiful gardens and stunning views all helped make this holiday one of the very best we have had (photos cannot capture just how beautiful the apartment and the surroundings are).The children loved having their own pool and we all enjoyed eating our meals on the vast terrace under the grapes.
A peaceful, chilled holiday was enjoyed by each and everyone of us.
