Generously sized private pools and stunning water features characterise these unique villas. The villas are set against a backdrop of olive groves, cypress trees and outstanding views to the nearby island of Ithaca. Secluded and private but within easy reach of local shops, tavernas, restaurants and the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the bustling Venetian harbour town, Fiskardo. The villas provide an ideal base to explore the largely unspoilt and beautiful island of Kefalonia. Within easy reach are a wide array of secluded beaches and coves where crystal blue clear water washes over brilliant white pebbles. A relaxing and peaceful holiday destination.

Changeover day Saturday for Aloni Villa, Tuesday for Sterna Villa although there is some flexibility particularly outside July and August.

Sterna Villa (Sleeps 6. 3 Bedrooms)

Sleeping up to 6 people in 3 en-suite bedrooms - either as a twin or double. One en-suite bathroom with bath, two with modern wet room showers. Marble floors extend inside and outside and surround the generous sized private pool (8.3m x 6.1m). The villa is furnished through out in a very contemporary style with distinctive artworks. The kitchen, furnished by Alno, is fully equipped for family use and contains dishwasher, fan oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The outside areas include a barbeque, dining area, arbors shaded by citrus trees and private courtyards. Shaded by a large oak tree Villa Sterna is named after the ancient method of storing water, and the original sterna is incorporated within the contemporary Mediterranean gardens that surround this private villa. Stunning panoramic views to the nearby island of Ithaca provide the backdrop to this most distinctive villa. |

Notes on accommodation
The bedrooms all have their own air conditioning and full central heating is available for those who visit out of season. The villas are distinguished by their unusual terraced location and hillside setting.
Accessibility
Not specifically adapted for people with mobility problems, one bedroom can be reached in Aloni Villa up two steps, with a walk-in wet area in the en-suite bathroom making it most suitable. The living areas and terraces surrounding the pool are all level surfaces with no steps.
Outside
Private pools (Aloni Villa 11.9m X 6.9m, Sterna Villa 8.3m X 6.1m), unheated but in full sun. Equipped with sun loungers and generous supply of outside tables, chairs and settees. Barbeque for use with charcoal.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is 5 minutes drive away but within 10 minutes drive at least 4 beaches can be reached. Beaches in northern Kefalonia are all white pebble, small, secluded and often shaded by olive trees. Even in the height of the summer season these beaches can be virtually empty.
Travel
Direct flights available to Kefalonia from May to October. Car hire recommended. Villas are approx 1 hour drive from airport. Taxi to villas is possible (approx 70 euro) and car hire available in Fiskardo.

Fiskardo 3km. Assos 15km. Argostoli 45km.
Further details
Village shops, taverna and restaurant all within 1km / 20 min level walk in village Maganos. Fiskardo has a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes together with more extensive choice of supermarket outlets, car hire, boat hire, bank and pharmacy. Medical facilities available in village of Vasilikades 5km.
