Villa Olivia is the largest 2 bedroomed Villa on Kournas Beach available to rent! Set in a local Greek area the villla was completed in 2007. It provides spectacular panaromic views of the sea and mountain from the large West facing balcony. This 2 bedroom villa overlooks the large 80sq.m pool which also has a seperate shallow area for toddlers and small children. Spacious and fully equipped. Relax by the pool or on one of the patio's and enjoy the mountain views. The beautiful beach of Georgioupoli is only a 10 minute stroll away. A 5 minute drive will take you to the center of the traditional fishing village of Georgioupoli, and Kavros with its bars and restaurent is only 2km away. 20 mins drive to Rethymno and 35 mins drive to Chania. The picturesque famous Lake Kournas is only 10 mins drive away from Villa Olivia.

Mostly Tuesday's due to flights, but we are flexible.

| Living Rooms: | Spacious modern lounge with dining area has a 2 and 3 seater leather settee, extending dining table and 6 chairs, satellite TV, DVD, mini Hi-fi, underfloor heating and open fire for winter months. Two sets of patio doors lead undercover or pool patio. |

Bath towels and linen are provided in this luxury villa. The villa will be cleaned before your arrival. |
Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning is provided in the two bedrooms. Hot water is produced by solar power, backed by electricity. Underfloor heating is provided in the lounge, kitchen and 1st floor bathroom.
The pool has separate shallow area making the villa suitable for toddlers and children. High chair and cots can be provided if required for a small additional fee of approximatly 10 euro per week.

Accessibility
The villa has a carport attached at the front. With one of our bedrooms and shower/toilet on the ground floor, the villa will be suited for people having difficulty getting up and down any stairs.
Outside
The large 80sq.m swimming pool with separate area for toddlers and small children is shared with 4 other dwellings. Sunbeds and parasol are provided and there is plenty of space around the villa for sunbathing and shade. The villa includes a garden to front, side and back. Three patios, one providing shade with out door rattan table and chairs, a large west facing balcony with sea and mountain views over looking the pool also has 2 additonal sunbeds and outdoor table and chairs for your comfort and private sun bathing. Fabulous views of the mountains can be seen from the pool and patio areas.
Coast/Beach
The golden sandy beach stretching 6km to Georgioupoli is only 5 mins drive away. It is excellent for children as lifeguards patrol the beach regularly and the sea remains shallow for quite a distance. Along this quiet beach several family run Tavernas provide traditional Greek dishes, ice-creams and drinks etc.
Travel
Car hire is recomended. Villa Olivia is only 35 mins drive to the nearest airport of Chania, Heraklion 1 hour 20 mins drive along the scenic coastal road.
Distances
Villa Olivia is only 5 mins drive to an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants which are situated in the quaint fishing village of Georgioupoli. Kavros, less than 5 mins drive has a local bakery, butchers, shops, bars and restaurants. Crete's largest fresh water Lake Kournas, said to be bottomless is only 10 mins away - you can hire a pedalo and swim looking for fresh water turtles and fish. Also about 10 mins away is a dive club were you can hire all equipment and book diving trips.
