Newly built traditional style villa set on the edge of Lachania, the most traditional village in Southern Rhodes. The house has its own secluded walled garden (500sqm) and private pool with magnificent sea and valley views to make it a very special retreat for your holiday. The village has three tavernas, one of which is run by the local priest and his wife and all are within easy walking distance of the villa. The villa has two bedrooms, an open plan kitchen to living area, 1 bathroom plus outside shower. The garage has direct access to the garden and the bedroom upstairs opens onto a large private balcony with a magnificent view.

The walled garden makes the house a very private and secure holiday home. We will provide you with a welcome and info pack and there are phone numbers to contact should any problems arise. The rental cost is inclusive of water and electricity.

Accessibility
The house is easily accessible by a few steps leading directly from the front arched traditional door into the garden.
Outside
The spacious garden has a sun terrace next to the pool area - both covered and open - with wooden sun loungers, table and chairs and is directly overlooking the pool. The swimming pool has two water lilos and a pool shower. There is a patio on one side of the garden, a large upstairs balcony with a breathtaking view and in the garden there are plenty of places to sit and relax or sunbathe. Little steps lead to various parts of the garden, whether it is the herb garden, the lawned area to one side of the house or the indigenous Mediterranean shrubs and trees, each part contributing to a truly Greek experience.
Coast/Beach
The beach of Lachania is only a short 5 min drive away and this sandy beach is completely unspoilt - just you and the sea with its crystal clear waters. The coastline of Southern Rhodes has dozens of beautiful, secluded quiet beaches, easily accessible from Lachania and it is still possible to be the only person on a beach, even in the height of the summer season.

Travel
Lachania is about 70km from Rhodes airport which is about a 1 hour drive. You can hire a taxi or car at the airport or for better rental rates, we can arrange a car for you from a local company.

About 2km to nearest beach, 6km to Gennadi, 25km to Lindos and 70km to Rhodes Town.
Further details
After exploring Lachania and having a meal or coffee at one of the traditional village tavernas, you may wish to venture further. A stroll through the surrounding hilly countryside, a drive to one of the neighbouring villages, sipping some wine on a secluded beach watching the sunset - it is all there for you. There are lots of little churches to be discovered, historic sites to be visited and the island is perfect for a day round trip combined with stops at the ancient city of Kamiros, Ialysos or Lindos. Further on, a visit to the medieval town of Rhodes, with the largest inhabited walled city in the world, is something that should not be missed.

Upon booking there is a 30% deposit payment to be made and the full amount is payable 8 weeks before arrival. Payments are made by bank transfer.
