If you would like to rent a villa that's truly elegant, deliciously secluded and incredibly spacious, you won't find any place better than Villa Stella. Just imagine over 3500sq.ft of a private villa, forty foot ceilings in the living room and 14ft ceilings in the three air-conditioned bedrooms and two large bathrooms. Add to it, the large study with the en-suite bathroom with walk in shower, a study full of windows overlooking the Aegean, a study which can double as a forth bedroom or a bedroom for guests who cannot deal with steps! Add to this a huge 20' x 45' private swimming pool, satellite television, and immense balconies with ocean views; what have you got? Villa Stella! The decor of this villa is absolutely outstanding. Beautiful marble floors, marble bathrooms, huge windows and sliding glass doors to facilitate a view of the Aegean from most rooms, gracious large verandas and porticos, huge BBQ next to the rose garden; what have you got? Changeover day
We understand the trials and tribulations of booking dates and cost of the tickets. We will work with you to the extent possible to accommodate you. Check in times are 3:00pm. Please let us know if you are coming in much earlier or much later.

Accessibility
Our villa is perfect for guests who cannot negotiate steps easily. The one bedroom/study with the en-suite bathroom is perfectly located on the first floor where there are no steps at all to the car!
Outside
The front garden has a large size BBQ area where one can spend many a summer eveing grilling and enjoying the view. The swimming pool is large and deep and private.
Coast/Beach
The western part of Schinias is a large crescent beach of fine sand, a National Park beach with an umbrella pine forest providing shade down to the water's edge. Many water related resorts and taverns are located within the forest providing tasty foods, refreshing drinks, and a variety of water sports. This environment is perfect for families and people in general who want to relax and socialize. There is something for everybody!
Travel
If you do not wish to drive into downtown Athens, you can take the bus that connects into the excellent mass transportation system in Athens (subway, surface rail, and bus, thanks again to the Olympics). Please be aware that driving around Athens is difficult because of traffic, lack of parking, narrow crowded poorly defined streets, and poor maps. I highly recommend public transportation. There are numerous bus stops in the Schinias/Marathon region.
Distances
Our villa is strategically located close to the major highways (30 min) and the metro (30 min) and within 15 minutes of the nearest town of Marathon. Within a day's trip you can visit Athens, Corinth, Mycenae, Delphi, and several islands nearby.
The international airport is 50 minutes away, the Port of Rafina is 30 minutes away, Corinth, 1.5 hours, Delphi 2.5 hours.
Booking notes
To firmly book the villa a 25% down payment is required. The rest of the payment is due 45 days before arrival. The security deposit of 250 euros is due on arrival (unless paid by credit card) and is returned on the day of departure baring any charges. We accept credit cards, Paypal, bank transfer.
