'Marias' possesses the charm of a traditional Zakynthian stone built house but with all modern amenities. From the house and beautiful 14m pool (which you may have to share with the birds!) you can enjoy views of Kephalonia in the day, glorious sunsets, and star filled skies at night. The house is within easy reach of the unspoilt beaches of Porto Vromi and Limnionas in the west and the family resort of Alikes, with its long sandy beach offering watersports in the east. Marias is a perfect base to explore this island, whether it be walking, boat trips to the Blue Caves, Shipwreck Cove and Kephalonia, or hire your own boat and explore the hidden little coves. Marias offers all the charm of a quiet retreat yet with the hustle and bustle of traditional family run tavernas and Greek life close at hand. The only traffic jam you will encounter is that of sheep or goats. Awash with flowers for many months of the year this area can be enjoyed all seasons. Direct flights May-October.
