Located just a minute away from Lake Kournas on the Island of Crete near the town of Georgioupolis. The northern coast of the island is visible from our balcony as well the beautiful mountains and fields surrounding the lake. The rooms have air conditioning and television all with new double glass windows and doors that are soundproof and secure. The outside area has a multi-car driveway, a sitting area a grass lawn. From our location the lake is within a short 3 minute walk from and the beach is 3 km away. The beach is visible from the house. At the lake you could swim, sun bathe, ride the water cycles, and canoe. There are several taverns and restaurants, cafes and souvenir stores within a kilometre from the house. The nearest beach is at Georgioupolis where you could find all kind of additional stores, cafeterias, supermarkets, pharmacies, internet café etc. Crete is a big island with many sites to visit & explore so a rental car is highly recommended.
