Accessibility
The bedroom and living room are easily accessed through external doors at ground/terrace level. The kitchen and main bathroom are lower than the rest of the apartment as there are three steps. The second bedroom is on a mezzanine floor. The second bedroom is not recommended for children under 5 years of age.

Outside
The front terrace is West facing and has direct view of the sunsets and has a relatively secluded section of Mykonian seating. The rear terrace is East facing and has a view of the shared swimming pool. Two Pergolas on East and West facing terraces. Bushes and shrubs are planted around the terraces so there is plenty of greenery. Ornos Beach is only a 1 min walk. Most eating can be alfresco on the terrace or at one of the Tavernas.

Coast/Beach
Ornos Beach is a 1 min walk from the apartment. This beach is beautiful by day or night and is mainly family orientated. It is South facing and away from the prevailing northerly winds. There are many beaches on Mykonos to suit all tastes and these are easily accessed from Ornos Beach by water taxi, bus or rented car/motorbike/quad.

Travel
EasyJet has 3 direct flights a week from London Gatwick to Mykonos. Access to Mykonos is extremely good between May - October as there are direct flights to Mykonos from over 20 European destinations. Car hire is not needed at this location, but if you wish to explore the island then a local rental company is available for cars, motorbikes and quads.

Airport - 3km accessed by taxi (10 minutes).
Mykonos Town - 2km accessed by bus every half hour from 07.30 - 01.30.
Ornos Beach is a self contained Village and within just a few minutes walk there are supermarkets, car/bike rental, tavernas, bakery and pharmacy.

Further details
Mykonos is a very open minded and laid back place and quite different from most of Greece. All properties are painted white with all versions of blue for shutters and doors. The footpaths in town are painted with random patterns. Strict planning has ensured that buildings are a maximum of 2-3 stories high. Mykonos town is built as a very confusing maze of streets and it is easy to get lost. You will always be welcomed back to Mykonos by locals who seem to remember you. It is very easy to Island hop to places like Santorini and Delos. The best beaches are on the South coast and each is stunning with crystal clear water. This property is at Ornos Beach, and it is easy to just stay and relax here for the whole period of holiday. For a more lively time many people staying at Ornos Beach will visit Mykonos Town in the evenings for shopping, partying and eating, and which is only 10 mins by bus or taxi.
