Notes on prices
Prices are for the villa per week in UK Pounds. For long winter or summer lets of more than 2 weeks, please contact us and a discount can be negotiated. Please contact us if you require a short stay of 3 or 4 nights, we have a limited number of dates available at discounted prices.

Changeover day
Our preferred changeover days are Wednesdays or Saturdays. Other days of the week are possible and depend on the time of year. Arrival time is after 4pm and departure time is 10am. Please call or email to discuss any special requests.

Bathrooms: Ground floor WC is fully tiled and has a splash shower attachment, basin and WC.
1st floor main bathroom is fully tiled with bath, power shower, WC and washing machine.
Kitchen: The contemporary fitted kitchen is brand new with new appliances. These include cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven and essential cooking and dining utensils, childrens crockery and cutlery.
Living Rooms: Large open plan living area with open aspect to Vlicha Bay and the Aegean Sea. Large corner sofa, 32" HD flat screen TV/DVD player. Ipod docker available on request. Dining area with table and chairs, patio doors to pool and furnished terrace and gardens.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Top quality bed linen, hand, face and bath towels are provided. No beach towels are provided. The villa will be cleaned weekly. Bed linen and towels will be changed weekly. Additional cleaning/changes on request, payable locally for a small charge.

 

Notes on accommodation
Villa rental is fully inclusive of air conditioning, water and electricity - no hidden extras. A Guest Service Manual will be provided, containing useful information, restaurant recommendations, places of interest and the contact details of our management company, as well as other useful information to assist you during your stay. Please let us know if you require a cot or if you have any other special requirements. DVDs and games will also be available for your complementary use during your stay at Villa Fedra. We kindly ask you not to smoke in Villa Fedra as it is a strictly Non-Smoking Villa - your cooperation is much appreciated.

Accessibility
The villa is in an elevated position and has it's own private driveway with electronic gates. The villa is less than a 1 minute drive to Vlicha beach or a 5 min walk. A short walk from Villa Fedra is a local bus stop with regular services to Lindos and to Rhodes Town, taxis are also readily available. The local supermarket is within 500 metres.

Outside
Front Garden: Electronic gates with secure parking; walled garden with plants and olive, orange, lemon and mandarin trees and outside lighting. Rear Garden: Walled garden and pool terrace with night lighting, includes: barbecue area; 8m x 4m overflow pool with poolside shower; large lawned area and rockery with exotic plants; sun loungers; shady pergola, dining area with table and chairs. The pool terrace and garden provides ample space for sunbathing, dining and entertaining, together with uninterrupted outlook over Vlicha Bay, there are no other buildings in front of villa Fedra.

Coast/Beach
Vlicha Beach is just a 5 minute walk from Villa Fedra. This is a large, quiet beach with a couple of hotels, a few tavernas and a mini market. The beaches at Lindos, to the south, and Kalathos, to the north are just a few minutes drive away.

Golf
There is a championship 18-hole golf course at Afandou, approximately 15 minutes drive from Vlicha. It is designed by eminent golf course architect Donald Harradine and is open year round to the public.

Special interest holidays
If you are getting married on the Island of Rhodes, Villa Fedra is just minutes from the chapel at St Paul's Bay making it the ideal location for yourselves, or your wedding guests. The premier location at Vlicha Bay also provides the perfect romantic setting for honeymooners.

Travel
Rhodes Airport (Diagoras) is 16km south-west of Rhodes Town (40 mins drive). You may rent a car directly from the in-airport desks if you wish to explore the island during your stay. Alternatively there are taxis readily available at the airport or we can arrange a private car to meet you. Some of our guests have used taxis and buses to get around Rhodes with no problem. The local bus stop is only a short walk from Villa Fedra, where regular services operate to Lindos and Rhodes Town.

Distances
Rhodes Airport and Rhodes Town are approximately 40 minutes drive, Lindos Village is a few minutes by car. The villa is ideally located for exploring all the attractions on the island.

With over 300 days of sunshine a year, Rhodes is officially the sunniest place in Europe. Its overwhelming natural beauty and the significant marks of history are only some of the reasons that make the island so special. Rhodes is a place where you can still find unique untouched beaches and crystal clear sea. Apart from that, there are many unique landmarks on Rhodes such as the Medieval Old Town, designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, the village of Lindos, one of the most picturesque locations in Greece, the eco-park of the Valley of the Butterflies that attracts thousands of butterflies and the Seven Springs with seven trickling streams that flow into a lake.

Villa Fedra is situated in Vlicha Bay, just a few minutes drive from Lindos Village on the South East of the Island. There are a few local shops, tavernas and a mini market close to Villa Fedra at Vlicha Bay. There are many restaurants, bars and a couple of banks located in Lindos and there is a regular bus service there which stops just a few minutes walk from Villa Fedra.

Villa Fedra's close proximity to Lindos means you are one step away from all that this pretty, lively village has to offer, whilst being able to escape to a private, tranquil and luxurious oasis with your own private pool, terrace and garden, something that no house in Lindos can offer you due to strict building legislation. Only traditional houses can be built in Lindos and as a result there are no private villas with pools available.

Booking notes
For reservations, a deposit of 25% is payable on booking with the remainder 8 weeks before departure. If you wish to book Villa Fedra within 8 weeks of travel, the full amount is payable upon reservation. A £200 security deposit is required when you pay your remaining balance and will be held by us and returned to you immediately after your holiday, providing we have confirmation no damage has occurred during your stay.

About the owner
We are Joanna and Helen from Surrey. We first came to Rhodes as children with our family in the late 70s and fell in love with the enchanting, historic village of Lindos. We have been visiting regularly ever since and, due to the strict building regulations, little has changed over the years.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
For many years we have dreamed of owning our own villa close to this magical place we had discovered so long ago, and about a 2 years ago our search finally began... We were looking for our own slice of paradise close to Lindos Village and the beach and within easy reach of amenities. As soon as we saw Lindos Villa Fedra at Vlicha Views, we knew it was special. We immediately loved the location and the fact that this was such an exclusive and beautifully designed villa. But it was the moment we saw the amazing view from the pool terrace that our decision was made. This was the one!

Unique benefits of the property
The benefits of staying at Villa Fedra have to be the amazing front line sea views, this was what 'sold' the property to us, each time we go back, the views never fail to take our breath away! The villa is also ideally located, whilst being in a tranquil location, it's just minutes from all amenities, taking away the necessity for car hire for those who prefer not to. It is our aim to give our guests a professional and personal service and we will endeavour to provide you with a perfect holiday experience.
