A pretty detached property with modern amenities situated centrally in the village of Daras. Daras is sited approximately 8km from the coast between the towns of Petalidi and Messini. There is one taverna in the village and two basic shops/bars along with the usual assortment of vehicles passing through the village plying their wares. Daras is ideally situated to savour all the locality has to offer - ancient sites, beautiful walks, deserted beaches and the unique experiance of living within a working agricultural area of Greece.

Changeover day
Changeover day is generally Sunday to suit Kalamata charter flights. The house will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 11am on the day of departure. These times may be flexible, subject to other bookings.

| Living Rooms: | Lounge with curtained arch between bedroom one. Seating for six. TV and DVD player. Well stocked bookcase and board games. |
| Other: | Front door opens into central hallway with all rooms accessed from this. |

House to be cleaned weekly on Sundays. Sheets and towels changed weekly on day of cleaning. Beach towels not provided. |
Notes on accommodation
The accommodation is constructed on one level, four steps above outside ground level. There is a covered verandah with guarding at the front and the back of the property. Assistance is on call if required from the English owners. We kindly request that smoking is restricted to outside the house.

Outside
Verandahs at two sides of the property means shade is avalible at any time of day. There are gardens on all four sides of the property. These comprise roses, vegetables and a variety of fruit trees. Pick your own fruit and vegetables when in season.
Towards the back of the rear garden is the owners small detached accommodation.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is about a 10 minute drive away. Sandy beaches can be found all along the coast.
Travel
The village is about 25 minutes from Kalamata Airport from where you can pick up a hire car if you have one waiting.

Petalidi 11km.
Messini 16km.
Athens 280km.
Ancient Messini, Pylos, Koroni and Methoni are all within striking distance. Olympia and Sparta are a little further afield.

Booking notes
A deposit of 20% of the total holiday cost is required when booking the holiday. The balance is required 6 weeks prior to the holiday date. Payment should be by cheque in UK pounds. A booking form will be forwarded when contact has been made with the owners.
