Villa Velanidi is a beautiful and spacious 5 bedroom villa that sleeps 10 in a small valley near Kaligata, Greece. It overlooks the Ionian Sea to the west and Mount Aenos to the east. The villa is about 5 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Argostoli.

| Utility Room: | Extra play area in basement which opens to pool. Basement bathroom has washing machine. |
| Living Rooms: | Lounge contains 2 large sofas, other seats, fireplace and TV/DVD for comfortable evenings. Indoor dining room seats ten and table on balcony also seats 10. |
| Other: | Pool furniture includes loungers, umbrellas, tables and indoor/outdoor wicker furniture. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Linen and bath towels are included and changed 2/3 times per week. Beach towels not included. |

Outside
There is a large fenced garden surrounding Villa Velanidi with a private 45 sq.m. pool surrounded by a patio and illuminated for night use. Pool furniture includes loungers, umbrellas, tables and indoor/outdoor wicker furniture. Next to the villa is a traditional BBQ. Near the entrance is a large, private car park. The garden near the pool is a grassed area and great for children to play.
Coast/Beach
The famous Avithos Beach is a 5 min drive or 20 min walk. There are numerous other beaches within a 30 min drive. Other nearby beaches are Ammes, Platis Gialos, and Ai Helis.
Travel
Car hire is required and available at ports or the airport. The Kefalonia airport is a 10 min drive. The villa is not under the flight path so it is quiet. The nearest ports are Poros from Kyllini and Sami from Patras.
Distances
Argostoli, the main town on the island is a 20 min drive. Supermarkets are 10 mins away by car. Kaligata is a 15 min walk and Kourkoumelata is 20 mins away.
Further details
Villa Velanidi is in a small valley in Kaligata just above the famous Avithos beach in Kefalonia. Excursions on the island include the main city of Argostoli with its port and archaeological museum, picturesque Fiskardo and Lixouri, Mount Aenos, the monastery of St. Gerassimos, Drogarati Cave, Melissani Cave and the Robola winery. Further away are wonderful day trips including Olympia on the Peloponnese and the nearby islands of Ithaca and Zante. It is ideal for families and groups.
