Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per night in euros and include cleaning services, change of bed linen and towels. The air-condition costs extra 20 euros per day. Sauna available at extra cost of Euro 7 per day. Internet available on request. Long Winter lets for 1 month or more on request with special offers. Cancellation policy: In event of cancellation the deposit is not refundable (contact owner for details).

It is flexible the changeover day. Check in time is at 2pm. Check out time is at 11am.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is 130sqm without the surrounding balconies, terrace, swimming pool and garden. The lounge offers swimming pool views. Dining room and the swimming pool area offer panoramic sea view. Ideal for honeymooners, families, or for 3 couples. Central heating and air condioning throughout.
Accessibility
Ramps have been designed for wheelchair users. The doors are wide for easy access. The bathrooms are large for easy access of the wheelchair. The bedrooms are large for easy access . The bathroom doors open the opposite direction from the outside towards the outside.

Large Private swimming pool which has jacuzzi system as well with surrounding garden and BBQ facilities and Sauna. Garden chairs, table and umbrella. Lazy chairs for laying around the pool. The swimming pool is 9m in length and 4m wide and is 1.35m in depth.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Scaleta Beach which is 1000m from the villa. Scaleta Beach is a sandy beach with local tavernas and coffee shops. Sfakaki beach and Adelianos Kampos Beach is 2km from the villa with beach bars. Platanias beach is 7km from the villa with tavernas, water sports, supermarkets and beach bars, mini golf, train tours of the area. Fishing village of Panormo is 6km from the villa.

"Easy Jet" airline company and "British Airlines" and Aegean airlines offer direct flights from airports of the United Kingdom to the airport in Heraklion, island of Crete, Greece. The Horse Park which is close by about 6 kilometres after the Platanias bridge turn left for Horse and pony lovers! The Fishing Village of Bali which you can enjoy a nice swim and fresh fish!The Knossos Palace in Heraklion. Rethymno old historical town - Fortezza Venetian Harbour. Prevely Palm Beach on the south of the Island (Sandy beach). Scuba diving available at Kalypso bay in the south of Crete. Damnoni Beach on the South of the Island which is close to the Palm Beach. Booking notes
Upon confirmation of booking 30% deposit from the total amount in order to secure the booking reservation. The balance is payable 7 days prior to arrival.
An additional 150 Euro "damage deposit" is required upon arrival and after final check before departure this amount is returned.

About the owner
I visited Rethymno for the first time in 1993 and I loved it here. I emigrated from Johannesburg, South Africa in 1995 with my family and we have lived in Rethymno ever since. My husband, Peter and I found a very nice piece of land in the village of Nea Magnisia which we bought and built Villa Zafira. We offer all our guests personalised attention from the time of their arrival to the time of their departure and we are at their disposal at all times.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We thought that the location was ideal as it is close to the beach, quiet setting and offers all our guests panoramic views and easy access to the rest of the island and at the same time is close to supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, doctor, butchery, coffee shops and tavernas.
Unique benefits of the property
Villa Zafira was build with great care always thinking of our guest's comfort. It has no stairs! There is ramp for easy access.
You will enjoy a very nice and warm sauna and then you will be able to jump into the pool or have a nice jacuzzi bath to relax you! Each bedroom has its own wc shower/bath.
